They actually played the perfect road game in MTL Jan. They made one mistake all game and it went in the net. Mtls home opener no less.

You flat out haven’t given them enough credit so far this year Jan. You just haven’t. And I don’t appreciate it. Sorry lol

I really don’t wanna berade anyone, but since the Buch trade you really have irked me. Just being honest. We all knew Buch was a goner. Which had very much to do with the perceived weak return he got.

No one has used their head with that trade. It was a fore gone conclusion he was getting moved. The nitpicking on that trade was maddening all summer

- Slimtj100

Because I felt the return was underwhelming and know you have been chafed at me since then. You are saying the Rangers should hold out to get the right or fair return for Kravtsov, so why should I feel that should have been different for Buch? Plus I am still of the belief they could have kept him, even with the cap hit, and gotten Blais cheaper.

Where have I not given them credit they deserve? Special teams is a work in progress and praised the PP when warranted. The attack has been sporadic but noted when they had success or process itself worked, even if results weren't there. Igor deserves all the praise he has gotten. Noted the bottom six has forechecked their rear off, though I still think third line should be a hybrid line that can check and score, ala Tampa last season and the Rangers in 2014.

But I can understand your view and agree to disagree on the roster construction.

Well, it was his cave so I probably should have taken it outside.

No more Bear Picnics for me.

-The top 6 hasn’t had two fixtures for basically two games in a row. Hence the sporadicness. And again, new coach…new system..new players. It takes time for gods sake.

-The Buch vs Krav would be return. I mean Jan please..two completely different circumstances with two completely different situations. I can’t believe you just typed that, that’s a Brukie statement. Smh

So when this place talks and talks ad nauseam about the cap this the cap that, what am I supposed to think? Is that true? Is it bs? How many times is it brought up that player x can’t be afforded because we have a dozen guys to pay in the future. But Buch was different? Cmon Jan

I get it you loved Buch. I did too. I can move on from players/people. Try it sometimes. And again, the whole league knew Buch was getting traded, that alone hurt his value

Sorry Jan, you’ve become a hard read…and people have disappeared not because of me.

Fairly well in MTL Jan, really? Seems about right for you these days

All I can say from last nights game is WOW! Thank you Igor! Now for the sad news. Chytil is still in the second line center position! He's not awful but God Awful! I dont really see him being a center for NY or even a winger! He along with Kravtsov, Georgie boy, Zac Jones and Hajek need to be moved. Whats wrong with making a play for Ryan Strome? He's more talented than his brother, who could move down to the third line. However, if we're not doing anything at this moment, move Barron to 2nd line center and give them another winger like Blais to be with Panarin. Chytil can slot back on the 3rd with Goodrow and Gauthier. Lots of moving parts and Gallant has us all spinning our heads on what he'll do next
!

- rangerbluelou

Hate to say it, but Rangers need to resign Strome. Chytil is not the answer at the 2C.

TJ, if you really want me gone and feel I am the issue, please let me know. Been a Rangers since I am five years old and have said repeatedly, would like nothing more to be be proven wrong on the trades. Have always welcomed other views and never talked down to anyone, Rangers fan or other. I give my view and if you disagree, that's fine.

Didn't bring up Buch since the trade until the topic sort of come up here. I have moved on, made a single comment and that is all. Not constantly bringing it up in every blog. No intention of switching teams, as much as I sure some would be happy to see that or believe that my rooting interest has changed.

I know it takes time. That doesn't mean I ignore if they don't play well. Plus I have noted they are playing shorthanded, which has had an impact. But I guess that is being negative again.

Not there yet. He looked decent with Panarin on Saturday and think he still has game. Might need to be at wing based on what we have seen to date.

Jesus TJ, people didn't disappear because of Jan. The whole ADA/Trump arguments definitely kept me away. My views are not always the same as Jan's but his views are at least coherent and thought out. Some of the comments on this blog are turning into Twitter comments. Fans who don't understand the game critiquing poop because they saw a corsi chart so that must be god. Let's all let cooler heads prevail here.

Thought I saw a blurb during the latter half of the game that it was over 12 minutes. Must have misread that.
