think he's eligible to come off the protocol list tomorrow - so if he's fine then yeah he should be playing.

George is brutal. He isn't even a capable back up at this point. Hes a liability

What sets this year apart for NYR ~ and was just as true 5 months ago: this is the last (only) year where they have incredible cap freedom. On one hand it's a transition out of rebuild. On the other hand it's *the* chance to load up and strike.

Can't emphasize this enough."

Phil Kessel anyone?

Are they trying to win the Nathans contest or the Stanley Cup?

the man can still play and is in his final year of his contract. the fact that he's an absolute slob is just a bonus

The difference in confidence when the other is playing has never had a bigger divide

Did huska or wall play a lot in the preseason? Curious how they looked

That’s the whole Buch argument in a nutshell. They couldn’t afford him long term

I mean Drury is walking around with about 9 million in cap space. He has the ability to bring in some impact players to the top 6

The deadline will be interesting. Seeing where they are in the standings. Doubt we see anything happening soon tho, unless it’s Kravtsov

At this point may be best to hold onto Kravtsov and see if another team has injuries or something and gets desperate. Maybe would help his value

He can’t take him out until he loses, or faces 40+ on the first of a b2b. Very hard to trust Georgy these days
- Slimtj100

I'd rather play Kinkaid over Georgie.

I agree. No interest in trading him unless it’s a roster player that immediately plugs into the lineup. Krav has no leverage which makes this whole thing laughable from his perspective. He fired his previous agent from what I heard and he should fire the current one. Just awful advice he’s gotten with this

i doubt a team with injuries is going to want a guy with 20 nhl games under his belt but i agree on holding out for the right deal if the relationship can't be repaired

Screw him. Send him to the Yotes, Sabres or some other lousy team if that's what he thinks of his chance to work his way back to the Garden.

If they somehow could somehow fit him in, would anyone do Chytil and Kravtsov for Eichel? Obviously more would be going to buff (those two off the current roster tho, no one else). But rn I think I bite the bullet, hope for the best and do it.

Krav, Chytil, Jones and their 1st rder or something like that. I say it because I think things have changed a little bit since the summer started. Krav being a head case most importantly. And I feel like Chytil should be traded before people realize he isn’t very good lol

I drive the Chytil burying bandwagon, however you havent heard a word from me about him recently.

Tbh, I think hes been pretty ok playing in the 2C spot so far.
