Pens shutout streak has officially ended.

Sad it's on Mike Lange appreciation night. Sure Covid still has something to do with it.

Still as I've said before, I wonder how Pittsburgh will handle the Pens stars last year's if the team realistically isn't competing for Cups

ZAR looks out of shape.

He still is feeling the after effects of Covid. Was in yesterday's interviews.

Marino made a couple of poor pinching decisions in that last minute that led to some quality Stars shots. Oh well, we have 40 more minutes.

They were very dominant in the 2 minutes they played.

Nice! It feels like we've had the puck a lot when Marino and Pettersson are on the ice tonight.

They have been a very good pairing. It's what we need as Letang and Dumo age, take some minutes.

Kap is off by just a second. Puck is appearing just ahead of him

He'll get in a groove. We are playing good right now so it's not like we're desperate for him. When we need him he'll get going.

My buddies company gave up their box seats this summer. Said it was an easy budget cut. Made me think that a lot of companies that helped contribute to the sellout streak did the same.

Covid has changed downtown dramatically. Maybe forever. Now that the business community has been scattered, I wonder how that's going to effect the Pens long term. It's a ghost town now. I doubt my wife ever returns to her office. Covid has also changed how people consume entertainment in general.

If Covid didn't happen, I think the Pens are still selling out. I will agree, there will be a dip when Sid and Geno are gone, but life has been restructured for most people. That's going to be felt in nearly every industry.

Oh yah, I work from home now, but have to go downtown for court and it just doesn't feel like it used to. It's definitely better than last year at this time, but still not normal.
But who can blame these companies? It's a shame too because Pittsburgh was finally becoming a city that existed after 6pm. When I was at Duquesne in like the 2010 to 2012 range, the city streets were empty after 6pm. That was starting to change

Lol, Geno made Mike Lange a milkshake.

Or at least put whipped cream on a Jake shake somebody else made but still perfect.

Yep. Pittsburgh has always been a commuter town. Things were changing at a glacial pace, but they were FINALLY changing. F'n shame.

There's at least 10,000 no shows at Steelers games these days.
