Sabres tried for him during the ROR talks but it didn't work. I like the players you mentioned but money has to move out also.

That’s where the tarasanko flip with celery held could work…. Just gotta find a team that wants tarasanko and tarasanko wants to go to. Rangers? Lol.

The Knights are still trying very hard to get Eichel but they are trying with players not named Krebs, don't think that will work. IMO, the Sabres should look elsewhere.

Yeah that won't work, if I don't hear Krebs, Korczak+ the phone goes silent.

I think we can get better offers with other teams but the Knights seem desperate.

Which is weird, cause they won’t have him for a while and are in trouble now. Going to trade roster players and prospects and picks for an injured player? Tough to stomach.

I respect that opinion.

If this team keeps winning, wonder if both sides rethinking their positions?

Adam's seems really forgivable. The pegula's could be done.

Eichel had a chance to see what this team would be like under Granato end of last season and he didn't care to even come watch the team. I'd much rather have the young pieces from the trade to fill more depth to go with this team and new culture. Done with Eich.

Good post

Hopefully teamwork replaces an elite nhl player.

Looks like they're trying to go the Bill's locker room culture route and I'm for it.

in defense of jack, he had the chance to see what the team would be like under disco/thrill/rlph and all he saw was fail after epic fail...was he a big part of that?...sure, but the organization as a whole was (is still?) a train wreck

I'll listen. Can't imagine he'll say anything noteworthy. Hopefully they get creative with the questioning.

Interesting to see that Risto got neither PP time (Yandle slotted in ahead of him) nor Penalty kill time (everyone not named Yandle slotted ahead of him). That's an expensive bottom-pair defenseman.

but good on him for still being able to post a -1 in a 6-3 game.. gotta keep up in the race for the green jacket. can't let a 6 goal game for your team get in the way

Easy to blame an 18 year old tossed into a poop storm organization...the real and not going anywhere problem is:

Edit: easy to blame and focus on Eichel since he was hands down the best player in the organization in my lifetime.

How many players have said how excited they are for a fresh start after playing here? I don't blame Eichel for wanting out, he handled it like an immature young 20 year old...not shocking.

a billionaire who owns 2 professional franchises completely imploded his best asset in one of them. The focus should remain on Pegulas as Eichel is as good as gone but Terry will remain and continue to screw things up.

there were mistakes made everywhere and throwing Eichel into a leadership position was one of many.. hopefully they can turn it around and terry can step back and let the right people make the decisions.. does he have the right people is now the real question

"He collects most pucks mid-stride. His handling and skating forms are nearly impeccable. He’ll send false signals between the blue lines to move the feet of opposing defenders, cutting east-west and using the dotted line. He’ll fake weight shifts, shoulder-shimmy, and just overpower hapless defenders." -EliteProspects 2021 NHL Draft Guide
