I doubt it. Neither expansion team got 1st overall despite having solid odds to. A rigged draft would for sure have gone to one of them.

I'll be paying close attention to xGF and %, because that will tell us how they're competing more than, I think, almost any other stat. High energy and low talent will probably show that xGF is greater than actual GF. Which is fine for this team, and I think a goal you want to aim for.

Showing positive (50+) corsi % will show how they're play driving. If they can win on that against the bottom half of the league, I think this year is a huge success.
