I thought we usually waited till Xmas to start panicking.
It's a long road trip to start the season with 3 of our top 6 (EP40, Hughes and Boeser) having missed time in preseason.
I think the truer measure of the team will be how they rebound from their poor play yesterday. - dbot
Our team gets injured. Actually, it suffers from injuries more than any other team on average, season after season. This puts an emphasis on winning as many games as they can early in the season when most players are healthy and ready to go.
Our team will lose many games mid-season because of a injury depleted roster. Hence why many Canuck fans are frustrated with another bizarre pre-season that doesn’t create a situation where the team is gelled and ready to complete come game one.
