Actually I didn't realize at the time but Barron had just played 3 straight days of games in Hartford when he was called up. Thinking the Rangers didn't want him playing games in 4 straight days against Toronto. Might be why he sat out on Monday. |

They do, but this question was asked in a press conference and refuted by Gallant as the reason for why Barron didn’t play. I mentioned in my blog on the game  |

This shouldn't be a surprise at this point. McKegger is a north-south, wall-banging, grinder sort of guy. We better come to understand that this is what Gallant wants and will be what makes us harder to play against, from an in-game standpoint. And if he can't get it from his skill guys, he'll put in the bottom 6 than he can get it from.
