Anyone else disappointed in the NHL coverage this year? I'm looking to watch the CO-FL game and I can only watch it on ESPN+ which is a streaming service. FFS, I don't want to watch friggin hockey games on my computer. What a crap show this is. NO games on TV right now. The NHL is marginalizing its own product by doing this.

Agreed - the ESPN+ thing being streaming only sucks. I have the Center Ice package via xfinity. I preseason I noticed that not all games were available. Hoping that was just because of preseason. xfinity sucks though because they bailed on MSG Networks which means I cannot watch any Flyers vs NYR/NYI/NJD because they're blacked out on NHL-CI because I'm in that television market. That's a lot of games I'll miss.

*yes, I am aware of the "other" streaming possibilities but they kind of suck, too

Streaming live sports sucks - watching a game on a computer sucks - streaming on a TV sucks because you can't easily switch between multiple games

And ESPN+ is subject to the ridiculous local blackout rules so it wouldn't help me anyway

The Avs are even worse. Their team owner also owns the network that holds their broadcast rights. That network dropped almost every cable provider but DirectTV recently. So if you live anywhere near Denver (surrounding 10-states) you're SOL. All streaming options blacked out. Comcast, Dish Network, forgetaboutit. Only DirectTV, basically.

Yeah. With the league trying to increase revenue….,,seems backwards. But probably legalities around it all. I’ve been in a blackout area for Comcast for years. All games are on center ice. But I’d I watch the flyers broadcast they don’t allow h d. Just dumb.

Have no proof but feel tnt is showing the games on delay. The Boston game didn’t start until 745. Weird that it wasn’t 7 mins past the start time as usual.

I still do not see the Penguins making the playoffs. I think the Caps and Islanders are in for sure, and it will be a war between the Rangers, Flyers and Hurricanes for the other 2 spots.
