the suites are great and almost anywhere on the second level. first level gets tricky though...with the glass, angles and the nets. just didn't like it in certain areas. club boxes and suites are prime. all preference too i'm sure.
- Peter Richards

Some angles aren't good sitting down low but when you sit low, you get to see and hear all the sounds of the game and players talking. The game is much faster in person than on TV.

There’s also zero room out there in person, watching on TV is very different .

We used to go to games all the time and narrowed down our preferences. Now i don't live in the area, but if i were to pay for tickets.....yes i will be picky as i want to see everything.

how i know i'm getting old. we always see new movies during the weekday afternoon showings. no one else is there.

and get what your saying. for the price of tickets these days and everything else you have to pay for....watching it at home is just so convenient.

I don't see how that describes what the job of a top line is. That just says what we all know which is what matchup the coach wanted.
- MJL

Obviously the role of your top line is to score goals and take control of the game. All I was pointing out is in last night's game, that was not what AV valued most from them, he wanted Coots against the Bruin's top line to try to keep them in check, figuring his depth at forward in his other lines could beat the Bruins depth. It worked out OK, but I think we agree that the Flyers got a bit lucky last night.

This was brought up before. I don't think that Vigneault had the expectation that he wanted his top line to do any different than he would want in any other game.

would be interesting to see the CF% and xGF% for the perfection line for the games they played so far this year to see how G, Coots and TK stacked up. Another would be to look at last year's rates vs. G-TK-Coots as another comparison....then again, it's just easier to say they sucked and is in no way hyperbolic.

In person I really notice the details of the line changes. I notice the players like Voracek who lift their stick in the offensive zone as the puck goes the other way and take forever to make it to the bench. And the difference between smart d-men changing and bad judgement. These things really set out the context of what happens on camera.

Anybody watching Jake play? Stats say he's feeding Laine, as hoped, but is a minus player.
I love not having Jake on the power play. Ellis keeps the puck moving so quickly... Jake would hold on too long.

Thank you sir. I was being somewhat facetious in that some demand proof to back up hyperbolic statements then dont do the same themselves.

What statements have been made that are hyperbolic?

My favorite seat

1st row upper deck

Dead center behind goal

Love seeing the action both coming and going.

Very easy to see whole ice and developing play

I love when people say jake is blah blah blah in assists the last 10 years.....lol. That stuff is irrelevant for how someone performs today. G was awesome 5 years ago, now he is good. Jake has had a good career from a points and assists standpoint. But flyer fans watching him everygame, knew that wasnt good enough. There's more to being a good player than putting up points

Actually, and I cant believe I have to explain this, you see a lot more of the ice in person than on TV. But then again you must know this and are just being a contrarian wienerhead because someone has to be.

Good riddance to one bobby abreau. Team is much better off without him. Classic addition by subtraction.
