Well...according to Luc Gélinas from RDS, everybody on the Habs knew a week prior to the draft that Logan Mailloux would be their pick if he was still on the board.

Apparently there was one person within the Habs organization that was against the pick and made it pretty clear to everybody else that it was a bad decision, Gélinas wouldn't say who it was. He says that the person in question is still working for the Canadiens.

Gélinas went further, stating a personal opinion on the matter, saying that to him, he's pretty sure the fact that Molson had to go public and apologize for the pick probably is part of the reason why Bergevin isn't extended yet and that he may be looking for someone new as a GM going forward after next season.

oh yeah, didn't even notice, that mask was very ugly indeed. it was probably a "I'll let the artist do what he wants to" type of thing and Carey wore it for a game or two out of respect, even if he didn't even like it lol
