Panarin has been a turnover machine this year thus far. Trying to do to much. Oh yea Georgiev needs to fu*king stop that shot.
- Awolff9

It seems like Panarin is playing in a tentative mode, besides also trying to force to make too many plays with poor passes, including some of which you would never have expected especially a Panarin to even attempt to make at all. I just hope this isn't due to some issue relating back to the Tom Wilson incident, whether it being of some physical, or even mental nature thinking wise in relation.

Well for what it’s worth I truly don’t mean to annoy anyone other than those I just mentioned plus any trolls who stop by from other blogs

It's OK, he's just trying to make it seem like the Kessel idea is his.

He misses Strome
- Rangers99

That's 100% accurate for those who still think that Strome should have been traded during the offseason. Sometimes a certain player, including one of superstar status; needs a certain player as best meshing "aid" in order to have his game be at his top expected level. It doesn't matter whether Strome's assists tallied AND EARNED, are due to him centering a line having a top 10 NHL forward/player on it in Panarin finishing off the play successfully.

I could just imagine what these young Rangers fans of today would have been saying about Rod Gilbert if around back then. Probably something like:
"Oh, Rod is fortunate to be playing on the GAG Line with Center, Jean Ratelle and LW Vic Hadfield."

They certainly have formed some great chemistry but you’d think Panarin is more talented enough to play with just about anyone, especially mika. He’s in a funk that hopefully strome can get him out of

Maybe Gallant changes his thinking to split up Zib and Panarin back onto separate lines even if Strome is still out for Monday night's game. Sometimes two top NHL forwards cannot mesh successfully if on the same line. That could be the case when having two line mates who when on separate lines each regularly take one timers from the left circle directly off passes.

Sorry I just don’t buy the Panarin needs Strome to be elite talk. He was plenty elite before he came to the rangers and played with Strome lol

Yeah but I always go back to the nylander/jagr argument. We let Nylander walk and signed Gomez and Drury. Jagr never did as well as he did with nylander. He wasn't an amazing center but he was what jagr needed. Strome is the same for bread

Just saw that Quinn Hughes became the 10th fastest defenseman since 81-82 (not sure why that year) to reach 100 pts at 133 games. Fox needs 7 points in the next 2 games
