If thats the price, rangers wont pay it.
- nyrangers2

Thats fine once tank hits 20goals and he will probably by the 35 game mark, his price will go up. He looke like he did when he scored 40 and now the blues have a way more potent offense then we did then. He may even get 45+ but thats the price now that he has shown he is healthy. Dont take my word look at what wayne gretzsky had to say

I mean I like Blais but lets wait and see first. The dude showed no offense the first 4 games haha. Nice game last night though. Not going to say he is better than Buch cause of one game

At least he hasn't been suspended for being a butt head!

I thought you just said Goodrow doesn't belong on the 4th line??
- Tonybere

Because of what we pay him it would be crazy to have him on the 4th line but in the end that setup would be overall better.

lol are you serious absolutely not. There will be no retention.

Mathew roberston and your 2022 1st round pick for tank

I would like kravstov but there is not immediate place for him on the team and at this point it looks like he is going to return or stay in russia.

- BlueTaco

Yea no shot that Rangers take on salary without sending the same amount back.

Id rather see what Pajuniemi can do on the RW before I ever consider a trade for Tarasenko.

So theres no takers for a Chytil for Dylan Strome deal? Both young players get new shot at a new location? As for Kravstov, they need to tell him to get back to Hartford. Work your ass off so we can get you in to an NHL line up so he can be showcased and get a better return rather than take a 2nd rnd pick. Not putting that all on the team but theres blame for both and hes not getting very good advice from his side.

Laf is looking like the #1 overall pick. What's more important, him and Chytil are showing a ton of chemistry. Hopefully, Blais continues to look great and provides some more grit and D to that line. If so, Strome is looking awfully expendable atm.

I'm not trading Chytil right now. Dare I say, it looks like things are finally clicking for him. He still needs to work on the dot and on the defensive side, but so far the returns are really good this season

Chytil’s only 22. Zib was 23 when we acquired him and look how he exploded once he hit like age 25-26.

Chytil will be a PPG monster in 4 years at his current trajectory

No not at all 1goal 1assist 3 games. If it were not for lehner standing on his head tank would have had a hatty. He was the most dominant player on the ice in the game against vegas. This was coming from The great one himself Wayno.

Tarasenko is still possibly available. He wanted a trade prior to the season. Everyone had thier reservations on wether he was healthy. The answer is in he is healthy, his shot is back and he smoke theodore several times wednesday.

The price though has increased its a first 2022 and A level prospect. possibly more

Yea it doesn't matter who is to blame in the end, the reality is the Rangers totally franked up two top 10 picks in back to back years. That is just awful Asset Management.
- TPC

Yup. Getting kakko and laffy was pure luck which is the only reason missing on two top ten picks is manageable.

You want to wait 4 more years? That will make 8 years with mediocre play from a late first rnd pick. Not sure about that

i'm sure that's not what he's saying. not that i agree or disagree with his assessment but over 4 years the idea is that he would steadily improve

I'm not sure Chytil turns into Zib, but that first year, Zib wasn't who he was now, but very solid for us. Even if Chytil is a 50 pt guy for a couple seasons, that's 2C territory, far from mediocre

why thats what a healthy tarasenko costs. He looked phenominal in the gamne against vegas. On top of that the great one himself said he is looking dangerous. So why wouldnt tarasenko be worth that.

You don’t decide what the market is for tarasenko. You have no idea what a healthy tarasenko costs you just go from blog to blog throwing stupid crap up.

Especially when he has NTC and he can dictate where he goes. There's not going to be any kind of bidding war. I think you get a couple OKish prospects and like a late 2nd/3rd. If he stays healthy, there's going to be interest, but no one really has the space to fit him in unless salary is retained.

Getting there, kinda on the dusk side. Going to take more than a decent game to convince me. We have Chytil, so I really want him to succeed and develop into a proper 2C.
