Especially when he has NTC and he can dictate where he goes. There's not going to be any kind of bidding war. I think you get a couple OKish prospects and like a late 2nd/3rd. If he stays healthy, there's going to be interest, but no one really has the space to fit him in unless salary is retained. - 2sticks1puck

why thats what a healthy tarasenko costs. He looked phenominal in the gamne against vegas. On top of that the great one himself said he is looking dangerous. So why wouldnt tarasenko be worth that. - BlueTaco
So keep him and don't trade him. Easy

So theres no takers for a Chytil for Dylan Strome deal? Both young players get new shot at a new location? As for Kravstov, they need to tell him to get back to Hartford. Work your ass off so we can get you in to an NHL line up so he can be showcased and get a better return rather than take a 2nd rnd pick. Not putting that all on the team but theres blame for both and hes not getting very good advice from his side. - rangerbluelou
No, no, no, heck no and no.
Maybe Strome gets a resurgence as his brother did. But his salary and experience to date, coupled with his drop in production, means a deal closer to Ryan strome for spooner is what should be pursued if at all. Not for Chytil. |

Yeah sure if he stays healthy. If the Blues really want to get a return they will retain a little salary. If they don’t I can’t imagine any team is going to invest much into trading for him. |

They are going to have to or take a bad contract back. In terms of projected cap space, there are about 8 teams that could fit him without taking any salary back. None of them are considered strong contenders. Out of solid teams, the Rangers actually have the most space, but even then, they'd have to take some money back to make it work.
LTIR changes things, but basically if he wants to go to a contender, you are looking at 50% retention no matter what just to make things work. You probably get a little more in terms of return if you do that, but again no good organization is going to bid against themselves. |

Chytil is 2 years younger than strome and has played about 10 less games, with a similar ppg. Strome has also been scratched by the 0-4-1 blackhawks for the last 4 games while Chytil seems to be figuring things out a bit. So no, no takers except for on the Chicago blog |

Dare I say it… Im sure many peoples jaws will drop…
Right now, in the immediate moment, Im not trading Chytil. - aecliptic
glad to hear you've come around. I admit I'm a bit of a Chytil apologist but I really think he's going to be a good 2C. He's still a year younger than Barron who we all look at as a prospect |

I would prefer that honestly. Most analyst seem to think that once he gets 20-30 games in he will be traded. By That time he has proven he is healthy and with the way he is playing he may ask to be traded again. Armstrong will not trade him unless he returns what a 30-40 goal scorer returns. |
