So keep him and don't trade him. Easy

I would prefer that honestly. Most analyst seem to think that once he gets 20-30 games in he will be traded. By That time he has proven he is healthy and with the way he is playing he may ask to be traded again. Armstrong will not trade him unless he returns what a 30-40 goal scorer returns.

I agree somewhat but those multiple posts are the fault of whatever potato machine this site runs on.

Hey Jan, any chance you could reach out to Eklund and mention that his site goes down several times each day. Sometimes multiple times each hour or more. I am guessing he knows but I figured it can't hurt to ask.

Sir. He scored 40 goals once and had 4 other 33 - 39 goal seasons, which is nothing to scoff at. HOWEVER, he played 34 games the past 2 seasons and scored 7 goals. He is also on the wrong side of 30.

This season he has played THREE GAMES and has ONE GOAL. Hardly proof of anything other than he was indeed playing in those 3 games. Even if he did play great in those 3 games it's not an indication of anything other than he played great in those 3 games, as 3 games is hardly a trend. I doubt other teams will see that he played 30 games in a row (if he even gets there) and think he's all of a sudden not a season ending injury waiting to happen.

All of this is NOT to say that he is A) not going to return to form or B) is going to get injured again, just that there is no reason another team would or should feel confident enough to trade away top picks and prospects with no salary retention for him. And to be so outrageously confident of anything to the contrary is buffoonery
