If your PP can't get zone time and score, your not going too score a lot. Hard to put up 4 or 5 goals if you can't score on the PP

Galant has to make a change as this is not just one or two games now.

The pp strategy is force the one timer to mika and every team expects it

LAF, Chytil, Blais should just stay together for the PP2. Stick Nils in the back and I think its a good setup.

There’s no subtlety to it. It’ll never work

Ive mentioned it before. One of the biggest problems we have is that I dont think other teams respect our star players. What I mean by that is, they dont give them any space because of fear of getting beat.

We were fine the last two seasons. I think this whole “keep it simple stupid” approach has been taken too far

Right now the PP seems very predictable. Fox needs to shoot every now and then to pull the defender closer to him. That should then open up the one timer to Zib.

Or go back to last year and have Zib down by the goaline and Panarin high for the onetimer on the same side.

There are options just need to not be predictable.

This should have never changed personally, but I guess without Strome changes had to be made.

The problem for the PP1 is I dont think they trust LAF to be the playmaker/setup man from the right side, which I think is silly. I think hes got more than enough hockey ability to make those passes.

Kreider skating with the puck is cringe worthy.

OTT just collapsing on net when the Rangers get in their zone, not giving up any space to the net.

Was just going to comment this and give him credit. That was a brutal shift otherwise. Wtf is up with Panarin, he doesn’t look as decisive or as engaged as he usually does.

The whole 1st line gets caught in their zone and stays out way too long

Can't complain about Georgiev today. He's doing what he can.
