Well, I'm skeptic about them making the playoffs but I don't think we can say he won't score a ton in the remaining 77 games.

Are they 0-82 terrible? No. They will win some games. But here's how I'm thinking of it compared to last year's team that was pretty bad in the regular season then had the awesome run:

Take last year's roster and subtract Weber, Danault, Kotkaniemi, Tatar, Perry and add Savard, Dvorak, Perreault, Paquette and Hoffman. If last year's roster was pretty bad in the regular season and you make the changes above what can you really expect from the talent on this year's roster?

no team should be this terrible. maybe an expansion team from the early 90s should look like this because their rosters were piled with garbage. if this keeps up for a few more games i think the players will start backing the bus over Ducharme.

we are but honestly Jake Allen has been for the most part solid. goaltending is the only thing that's been NHL level so far. and i like Edmundson but come on.

I know the roster obviously has downgraded in terms of quality, but as I was saying yesterday with the way the team has been playing this isn't normal. if you were expecting them to play this horribly kudos to you but to me this goes deeper than just missing key pieces. they obviously aren't contenders but looking at the players they have they aren't the (frank)ing coyotes either.
