We need to be more concerned about Green dog housing Pettersson for a good portion of the season. It's 6 games and Green needs to learn how to trust his players to get out of their funks. Not relegate them to 3-4 line duties as he deems it so lol

Maybe he doesn't have patience as his job is on the line, and his team is losing to Buffalo and Detroit? Not that I'm a TG supporter, but I can understand if a player isn't feeling it to play the hotter hands instead. Petey will get back into it eventually, but not at the cost of winning. Maybe if he told his agent to get a contract done sooner he'd be playing more/better as well?

I agree that him and his agent pouting on the contract didn't help matters. But Green is always quick to doghouse players. Personally I'd give Petey a chance to play out of it. More than 6 games anyways lol

Maybe. I was not impressed by Pettersson and his agent with his negotiation tactics and the whole 'playing for a winner' thing. Even Mcdavid never said anything that stupid. I expect Petey to play through it. But also needs opportunity not 3rd line duties lol
