Maybe. I was not impressed by Pettersson and his agent with his negotiation tactics and the whole 'playing for a winner' thing. Even Mcdavid never said anything that stupid. I expect Petey to play through it. But also needs opportunity not 3rd line duties lol - LordHumungous

No seriously, if you're the franchise (supposedly) center then you better play like it. Great players make something happen every time they're on the ice. Other than his rookie season (before Matheson choskeslammed him) has Petey really deserved to be called a franchise center and worth building around? Some of it is injuries, some of it is Green, but even so you don't see say Barzal having a long string of bad games who his agent kept pointing to as closest comparison.

Dominated for long stretches by the Krak, but Demko kept us in it.
Garland is the heart and engine of this team.
I think he's my new favourite player on this team.

Agreed! I think he looks behind the play, almost as if he missed something that would have brought him up to speed. Can’t quite put my finger on it. Above .500 and not a hater in sight on here
