Thanks Carol! Not a terribly entertaining game but 2 points are 2 points.
Loved Garland doing the initiation (U8?) single hand push of the puck from the blue line in. We did that drill with our kids every skate it seemed! - 1970vintage
He is a fun guy. A personality that we have been missing for years. Love that signing.

I’m glad Benning stayed as he had a brilliant off-season. But if the team sucks he needs to go. He shouldn’t be allowed another coach - CanuckDon
Brilliant? He did a good job of undoing five years of stupidity, basically getting them back to where they were. But he did all of that at a cost, which he hasn’t had to pay yet. |

Yeah, as advertised. I think every fan here, slurpers and whiners alike were looking forward to his addition and have been happy with his contribution so far.
With the W, does Podkolzin get back in against the Krak? I mean, I guess he could learn something by watching from the press box. |

No doubt. That's exactly what we need in this lineup wish our Captain would act that way after two attempts at injuring Hogs. - LordHumungous
You make a comment like this several times a season, it seems you expect someone to protect Hoglander, Hughes, Pouty, Rathbone, Brock...
Big part of the teams problems, to f ucking soft.
I never seen the game, but I watched the hi-lites of Stillman hitting Hoglander, both appeared clean and on the 1 hit hoglander put himself in a bad position.

Disagree. It was good, but if the season goes sideways and they don’t make the post season all of the crap they unloaded for picks, buyouts and 6 more years of OEL at a very large number would have taken care of themselves, for nothing. |

He fixed his previous seasons mistakes with 1st and 2nd round picks. That shouldn't be the benchmark for a good offseason. Did he improve the team? Absolutely. Did he get good deals on Hughes and pettersson? Absolutely. Did he get value on Garland, 100%. Improving the team should be a yearly thing in the offseason, not a once in 7 years thing. It's the first clear win offseason he has had in his tenure, and he paid a premium to do it. |

Would just like to see some collective team toughness is all. It was refreshing to see Burroughs stand for Hogs. It's more than just Stillman taking a few jabs at Hogs...I see alot of liberties out there taken and would expect our Captain to lead the charge a bit at times. No, I do not expect him to be Reaves or anything but a little mean streak out there would be nice. Never a Flames fan but I loved how Iggy played the game. Bo should Captian like Iggy...not like a Sedin. |

First check was borderline. The hipcheck he tried to throw has a long history of being a fight starter. It was good someone stepped in to slow Stillman's roll before he got carried away. |

If several posters can go on and on about how they hate Myers, then I will go on and on about my dislike for Queenie.
Sorry it upsets you that I can't stand the kids piss-poor defensive ability, nor do I like his attitude. |

As bad as I am with my criticism of Hughes, I at least give credit where credit is due and compliment his play, the I hate Myers crowd can't seem to do that. |

it doesn't bother me at all. The people that hate myers are consistent with the hate as you are, they just dont say they aren't going to continue hating on him every page and then do it anyway lol.
I hated Gudbranson as much, if not more than you hate Hughes, so I get it. We all have that one player.
