Each team was only supposed to select 5, but because price is special Canada was allowed to select a 6th. - 1970vintage
So team Canada doesn't buy the mental illness story either is what you are saying?

Countries were permitted to name 50 players and five goalies on each list, but Canada was given an exemption to name six given the uncertainty surrounding Price's availability. The netminder is currently taking part in the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program. - Jim Bob Smith
That’s what I just said.
Due to the fact that Price, clearly one of Canadas five best goalies is currently unavailable, and may still be by the time Olympics roll around, Canada was given permission to select a sixth goalie. |

No, the IIHF gave team Canada an exemption to select one more player. I would imagine if he is healthy and cleared to play they would need to cut one of the other names from their list.
Edit, I guess maybe it’s the IOC not the IIHF but same same |

You can believe your fairy tales if you want . I call total bullsh1t on Bergevin.
He tried Price will be out all year with a neck injury . Price starts skating before the season starts and now he has brain freeze and will be gone all year.
Swampland , nice and cheap for sale. - VANTEL
Good, we value your opinion. Try the veal and for goodness sake, tip your waitress.
Your Swampland doubled in value with the Laundrie situation ? Seriously, good luck with that. |

Why would a country put a player on it's list that is dependent on on drugs and has mental illness and is incapable of playing at his current employment? Sounds like a stupid thing for a country to do? No?

Sounds like a hassle, i'll pass.
But i don't see a conspiracy if someone enters the players assistance program.

I bet the longer the Habs losing streak goes on the quicker he recovers and I will even say he will recover the same time as Gallagher and Drouin go on LTIR

I'm not really that interested to care to make a wager.
I agree that teams use LTIR to navigate the cap at times.
I don't think that's the case with someone who voluntarily enters the player's assistance program.

I hope they get a colour guy for these broadcasts. I don't think I can take an entire season of just Cybulski commentating. |

There's a big difference between bringing in a new GM and blowing it up. FFS, had he blown it up to begin with or at least by year 3 we'd be in better shape. What is it now, year 7-8? Probably safe enough to say there's enough young talent to build around. |
