The announcer on the Abby Nux feed is good for a laugh.

Nice game by Petan (from what i saw).

Dammit, I should know better by now. Thought Bailey had the better game. Goal and the assist on the winner. Did most of the work for Bowey.

We're a bubble team that's likely to miss because the Central is a much better division and is likely to take both WC spots. But hey, go ahead and live in your bubble that previous results mean nothing and that it's too early to make any assessments of the team. If you want to say that we haven't iced out best lineup yet without Sutter, Motte or Hamonic in, then sure, but Motte and Sutter are at best a slight upgrade on Lammikko/Dowling.

There's a big difference between bringing in a new GM and blowing it up. FFS, had he blown it up to begin with or at least by year 3 we'd be in better shape. What is it now, year 7-8? Probably safe enough to say there's enough young talent to build around.

League should be getting rid of 4-5 teams not expanding. Same 4-5 teams bleed 20-40 mil in cash each year. Seattle team is ok but a team like FLA should have been moved there not expansion.

Fair enough. I'm not a big fan of expansion but a 32nd team was inevitable.
Arizona will be in Houston next year and it would be nice to see a struggling southern US team move to Quebec City.

If the business as a whole makes a profit, which they do, then fewer teams makes no sense. It would be like Las Vegas closing all the buffets because they lose money.

It was bound to happen, just like in society generally. But the spread will less aggressive and the symptoms will be far less severe. Justin Bailey is a good example.

Thats pretty much what Mackinnon said (in regards to Bailey). Slight sniffles and pretty much no symptoms.

I’m guessing Montreal gets a W tonight.

Flames strong start, Kman is probably two dozen wings deep by now.
