When the Wings get set up in the O-zone on the PP, they do get more O-zone time than last year. They need to find a way to finish the job, though. I am still on the fence on Tanguay. I think another 10 games will be an adequate trial for him, barring key injuries. And Bert was missing from the PP and PK last night.......yeah.

The powerplay setup is illogical. Find me a successful top pp unit that doesn’t have one time options on at least one half wall.

Zadina has been seemingly the only one-timer option and if that is ALL you got it will get covered quickly. I see what you mean. I shift to a player like Hoffman, that not only is he a one-timer option but can be patient enough to hold his shot till a screen can be set as well. Larkin did that with his PP goal last night, whereas the defender was a partial screen as he moved in for a better shot. Actually not playing Hronek affected the PP as he possesses a one-timer from the left side option, that I have not seen lately. He is not the best at it, but use what you have........

You forget Raymond who can be a one-timer option but even when he is, he rarely does one-timers and often passes the puck or stops it before shooting.
