Umm no - he should be in the lineup instead of that plug Chaisson. Another bonehead move by Green.
And Petan doesnt disturb any sh*t - that's not who he is at all in any way.
And Lockwood is injured.

If you use Google Chrome on your phone you should be able to run an adblocker on that I would think, I've never tried personally |

VGK 1-4 nice even though I got Lehner 👍
We make out good in this home stand & I’ll be happy. Need a good start to build up a points lead. Ideally 5-2. |

Thanks Carol,
Watched the game Saturday, Canucks better get it together, can't get outplayed by a bunch of cast offs and expect to win all the time. Wait til they play a real team like the Flames. |

From the Athletic per the Petey drama:
Even in a league where goaltenders save over 91 percent of the shots they face on average, Pettersson has functioned like a time machine since entering the league, turning goalie save percentages back to the 1980s when he’s the shooter — or even when he’s merely on the ice influencing the quality of chances.
Going into this season, Pettersson’s personal five-on-five shooting clip since entering the league clocked in at an ungodly 17.1 percent. That’s the second highest shooting clip among NHL shooters with at least 200 five-on-five shots on goal since the 2018-19 campaign, behind only Leon Draisaitl. Decent company that.
So far this season, however, Pettersson is carrying a 0.0 percent shooting percentage at evens.
Because Pettersson’s individual finishing ability is lethal and because he’s also an exceptionally talented playmaker, Pettersson tends to drive on-ice shooting percentage also. Going into this season, his on-ice shooting clip at five-on-five clocked in at 11.4 percent — the third highest number in hockey among forward that have played at least 2,000 minutes since 2018-19, behind only Evgeny Kuznetsov and Jakub Vrana.
So far this season, Pettersson is carrying a 4.8 on-ice shooting percentage at five-on-five.
As the sample expands, we can expect Pettersson to benefit from some positive regression in these areas. Both of these numbers should be expected to gravitate toward a number that more closely approximates what Pettersson has managed for his career over a far larger sample. Put simply, we would expect more goals for Pettersson personally and more goals for his linemates too even if his two-way form remained identical from what he’s accomplished through six games. |

Christ could the guy get any more wordy and bland for something so simple?
To me it comes down to 2 things.
1. He's not getting as much space as he used to. 2. Now everybody knows where he prefers to shoot from.
Once he and the team figures out how to create space for him the shooting chances get better. |
