I am extremely happy we didn't go 8 years on our two RFAs this year - VANTEL
I thought both signings were great. Elias didn’t deserve a long term deal |

From THW
Believe it or not, the Canucks have not had a home game with a full arena of fans for nearly 600 days. The last time fans were in the building was back on Mar. 10, 2020 when J.T. Miller had the deciding goal in a 5-4 shootout win over the New York Islanders. To put that length of time in perspective, of the four players that scored in that game, Bo Horvat is the only one still on the roster. Adam Gaudette, Zach MacEwen, and Tyler Toffoli have all since left the team. In fact, only eight players from that game will be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Wild. |

Just watched Demko's media from today, he's so great. He was asked multiple times about how it feels to play in games where he has to make 45 saves, or whether he likes making big stops at home or on the road better, etc.
His response to every question was "I don't care. I'm just trying to make saves and win the game."
Goaltending remains the Canucks strongest position organizationally. |

And I think Poolman should be able to handle the stay at home role with Hughes - Nucker101
I really think that Poolman makes Hamonic redundant, with Burroughs playing well and providing some snarl I don't see Hamonic being an upgrade. Poolman is a much better skater than I thought and he's able to carry the puck a few times a game, his hands are better than I gave him credit for. I think at home they could make some adjusments with added practice time and then get rolling. As much as Demko has been a star and the shots have been dangerous I have noticed the volume is down a bit and if they can work to eliminate the number of dangerous chances they could be set up well for success. I am still in wait and see mode though. |

Not to keep pulling from this article all day but...
The overall save percentage actually underrates how good Demko has been, which has been a common theme for Canucks goaltenders over the past several seasons. Consider that only Ilya Sorokin, who has played in six games, has seen more high danger scoring chances, according to Natural Stat Trick. |

Umm no - he should be in the lineup instead of that plug Chaisson. Another bonehead move by Green.
And Petan doesnt disturb any sh*t - that's not who he is at all in any way.
And Lockwood is injured.
Strike three - Brooks_Light
What I mean is if Podz going to sit out games like this. I'd rather he be playing.
I referenced Lockwood for poop disturbing... but now I know he's injured.
You must be oxygen starved today. |

Hi. - Marwood
I think he meant actual people who would speak to him face to face. Like Millsey wouldn’t walk into the dressing room and be like “yo Pouty what up?”
But there are a few++ fans who definitely refer to him as such. |

Weird season so far but some teams might be paying the price of the flat cap and high priced signings. |
