I don't know this Eric Marmalade guy.

But if by "turning it around" mean's they'll win more than 1 game out 6, sure.

But if he means, make the playoffs, they'll need a big win streak to be in the conversation again.

Forget booze. Ayahuasca, the Incan psychoactive spiritual brew is what all the cool kids are drinking now. My daughter adopted a dog from a woman who’s gone off to Peru or somewhere to work with a Shaman for six months to take this drug - you know, the right right way.

Anyway, found out about a whole new to me genre of music - Peruvian Psychedelic music. These guys sound kind of like Richard Dale and early surf music

Got talking to the owner, he found out my mom had just died, so he decided to comp us some after-dinner tequila. We politely declined, because tequila is for 17 year old kids looking to get drunk in a parking lot.

He very politely called us ignorant peasants, and brought this bottle out:



Clase Azul Tequila.

Gosh darnit, Cupsie, it was the best thing I've ever drunk. It was like a fine scotch, only better.

We thanked him profusely, and tipped like big shooters.

Looked it up the next morning: $276.95 for a 750 mL bottle at the LCBO.

Damn.

There are way better tequilas than this for a lot less. Especially if you buy them in Mexico. Good tequila is meant to sip not shoot. And it’s not like gasoline going down burning the throat.

He comped 4 for the table.

There are way better tequilas than this for a lot less. Especially if you buy them in Mexico. Good tequila is meant to sip not shoot. And it’s not like gasoline going down burning the throat.

I was pushing for Mexico - and 90% of that was because I wanted to do some tequila shopping.

We couldn't get what we wanted, so we are going to the Dominican Republic.

We're headed to Cabo, fiancee's parents have a winter home/vacation property there.

I'm not an expert on Mexico but Cabo seems decent, can't really swim in the ocean though which is a bummer. Apparently the riptides and undertow are intense.

I did a golf trip to Manzanillo about 15 years ago, it was godamn brilliant. I can imagine that up and down the pacific west coast is beautiful. PV and Ixtapa etc. are definitely on the list.
