That's my point. I'm not talking a big fight. Part of his job (and others) is to lay a big hit or bump the 'tender or wash some face ....do some things during the course of the game when your team needs an energy lift. Get the other team off their game. Leafs let the Canes settle in and never brought anything different.

The defense as a whole is just awful. They're way too deep in their own heads and the longer it takes to get out of there the worse this is going to get.

In all honesty, if this team squeaks into the playoffs for some reason (I still think they'll finish top 5 in the league), they'll be that much more battle-hardened and ready for an upset.
