Leafs didn't shoot enough for Freddy to have a chance to give up a softie. - PatC80
1st goal was a softie, that’s all we were getting for softies.

what even is he doing...i thought players were supposed to improve and get stronger at his age... super soft, jittery and lost |

Not meant to be the great fix but I'd also get Kase into the top6. Maybe Kerfoot bumped back to Kampf's line.
That line is taking all the DZ face-offs ....no chance for offense at all. I think Kase needs to get a chance at those tasty OZ minutes the top6 are getting. - The Law
Yep, Kase is handcuffed playing with Kampf. Guy doesn’t have an offensive bone in his body.
Move Spezz to line 3. Kampf can play on line 4 and maybe when we need him for a face off he can take it and get off the h’ice. |

He takes opinions and exaggerates them as facts, a perfect example right there |

The Leafs are going to pick it up and make playoffs...will they win a round? No clue at this point.
But MLSE has their hands full right now, getting fans excited and engaged...You just know they aren't happy right now and at what point do you make a move to bring some energy back. |

Podcasts are the new age.
Talk radio is irrelevant, they just get angry and try to grab as many angry listeners as possible. - Santo_44
There’s good content on the radio. I’ll always listen Blair/Barker Jays stuff even after the Jays are out. They bring on knowledgeable people and have good conversations. That’s worth listening to, IMO. There were others on 590. Not sure of new line up |

I'm saying if you're in game 6 and/or 7 of the playoffs, you shouldn't need a coach to motivate you.. If a chance to win the Cup doesn't motivate you then it doesn't matter what the coach says.
It's in the players heads, I think the players issues are bigger than coaching. It's mental not physical. Maybe, I don't know, they should do one of those movie scenes in real life, where they go play a game in a small town on a frozen pond against a bunch of kids and remember how much fun hockey can be.. - PatC80
Playoffs is a different matter, we are in week 3 of the season. The PP has sucked ass for a long time - since last winter I believe. Edmonton is winning games despite lousy goaltending and a lousy defense. They do have the best PP in the NHL.Keefe has not materially changed the PP at all despite it failing badly. Sends out the top guys for 90 seconds, they skate around and create few shots but look very good untill they cough up a 2 on 1. And the second group Spezza and the plumber crew actaully do better in less time. This is on the coach and his staff. Pressure and shots. Pass Pass shot for me instead of Pass Pass Pass Pass button hook Pass, backpass to the dman, button hook lose the puck

I thought he tried that a little yesterday.. Spezza was on PP1 for several seconds.. - PatC80
well that's part of the problem - a few seconds of Spezza.
he needs to send out a differently looking PP unit to "start the powerplay" - very visibly different - but that I mean no Marner no Rielly/Sandin and one of Simmonds/Ritchie for the net front. Having Marner in the "bumper" position is useless - as he is never threat to shoot - I think Nylander in the bumper is a better option - he has a quick release and actually likes to shoot

I disagree very much, the majority of the city didnt give a crap about them before the run.
The Leafs fan base in Toronto is massive, the amount of people that invest their time into watching and following them is far far greater than that Raptors pre championship. - Santo_44
Again thats such BS.
The fans base is larger, but the margins are nowhere near as big you believe. Its obvious raps hate or envy.
With the growing number of immigrants to the city, the raps fan base has grown and will continue to grow. Leafs have probably peaked, there still will be new fans for sure, but not as many while they continue to be an international joke.
Its naiive for you to think there isnt a large amount of fans that invest their time into watching and following the raps.
