I agree with you 100%.

But man oh man, if they lose tonight to Andersen, Leafs Nation is going to turn stupider than they have ever been stupid before.

Like, Stupiderer.

The level of panic will be sky-high.

I'm banking on Andersen to give me a leg up on my fantasy team tonight.

I'm starting Campbell, so Carolina should win 5-2

I think you would make a quicker decision to flip it to center than he does....

pretty much the same.. Occasionally, the wifey likes a Heineken, but other than an occasional beer, I am usually left drinking alone at home.. My go to is Guiness or Peroni
- PatC80

I love how all the premier beers in Ontario are actually beers for hobos in their home counties.

Heineken
Stella
Corona
Pabst

it's only funny because it's true.. Went to Italy a few years back and a Peroni there was like $0.85..

Carlsberg is my go to hobo beer.

BTW Britain drinks Fosters and Carling as two of their best selling beers...so it's not just us.

I ignored my "homework" all weekend, so got up this morning at 5:30 am and rattled off the report I needed to do.

Mrs. Wedgie said to me this morning, "You're going to crash at 2:00 pm!"

Yeah, right.

I managed to get to about 2:20 pm before crashing.

This is a Hobo beer, Pabst is for the rich and famous compared to Lucky.

Peroni is my go to lager. An added bonus is that (I like to think) it gives me some brownie points with my Italian father-in-law.

I like the german hobo beers because they're actually just municipal beers, so every time you drink one it feels like you're just taking a trip to a different german city.

Is it wrong that I'm just a little giggly with excitement? If they get their poop together its a win and I'm feeling great. Bathing in the koolaid great.

If they lose it'll probably be epic and the fallout will be can't miss tv. Don't get me wrong - I want the win - but the masochist in me kinda likes seeing what happens when you press the red button.

Now that I've sounded it out I'm almost positive the only possible outcome will be a vague shoot out loss. (frank) ...

You surely can, and I'm not on the kneejerk fire everyone bandwagon... but if there is criticism then there has to be potential consequences too right?
- TheMussel

You give good players the chance to make it right. And you give them minimum half a season.

Like my example above...TBL gets swept by CBJ, they start of the season very poor not even breaking .500 by Christmas, Point, Kucherov, Stamkos looking like fraction of themselves after monster seasons the past year. Looked very bleak in the eyes of fans that panic constantly. Point had a 40 goal-90 point season the year before, didnt eve break a PPG that season.

Did they trade anyone? nope. Did they win two cups after it? Yup.

I worked at a Casino in “Northern Ontario” (I actually helped open 2) and they had this on tap, for $1.50. That lasted a month until the AGCO said “ummm no, this is a casino you can’t let people get THAT drunk”.

Oh it would be brutal.

Its like no fans would remember Freddy has god like numbers every October only to slowly drop as the season goes on.

And it has been a consistent trend other than last year where he decided to skip the god like numbers to start the season.
