He's not a boring GM, that's for sure.

Well, if you replace him by Patrick Roy we should still have lots of fun ahead.

Can we still fire Timmins though?

Or do we need him to fail with another third overall pick?

It can. Doctor told me kids sometimes get food in their lungs (peanuts for example). Sometimes they need to remove the foreign object through bronchoscopy

bicep club sticks together...always

and Timmins is the assistant GM now, he oversees the Canadiens' amateur scouting system, including the annual NHL Entry Draft and amateur free-agent recruitment. Trevor also oversees the Club's amateur scouting staff, covering Canada, the United States and Europe.

I wonder how he gets paid.

Looking forward to the pre game show tonight when Seattle raises their 1917 Stanley cup banner that they won against the Habs.

apparently the Kraken will also retire no. 32, because they are the NHL's 32nd franchise, and 32,000 fans made season-ticket deposits on the first day it was possible. I find it weird to retire a jersey when it isn't to honor a player but oh well, let them have their fun I guess lol

Anything that generates publicity, gets fans excited is probably good.

Especially for a new franchise, that will likely have challenges meeting the expectations set by Vegas' success.

agreed. about Vegas though, I think most "realistic" fans aren't expecting the same kind of results for the kraken, given the players they got at the draft...

true, they went the opposite way, went for the long term, leaving established players on the board.

not the best strategy imho, but they don't seem that terrible so far this season

watched them a few times. they work hard, but center line is weak, wingers average, can't score, defense is good, goalie meh. will draft early imo.

In a weak division that is going to be loading up on young talent and picks the next few years, not a bad strategy.
