“I thought we played well after they scored the 5th goal with 5 seconds left. Something to build off of.”

GG probably

I am actually happy they got beat down. The rangers have been getting away with wins when they didn’t deserve it. This was a lesson you better pick it the Frank up and start playing 60

I just don’t like the excuse that they got rid of all the talent or have no margins for error. Strome Kakko Panarin chytl Kreider Laf zib are plenty of talent.

Went on the Canes board to ask a question about Jarvis and they literally had two comments. How Fd is that and I would hate to be a blogger with no followers.

That is one thing I can say about all of you, most have been here for many years and loyal to the team, even as frustrating they can be at times.

Although we had a really good stretch a few years agao.

Serious question, what have you seen for Laf that has made you go wow.

The only top end talent that has been proven is Zib and Panarin with Strome getting a sniff of that convo the last 2 years. Fox on D is For Real.

Krieder is a different animal, he is out of this world for a week playing well and then on another planet skating up and down the ice for a couple weeks. Streaky good and streaky invisible. Which I guess he has talent.

Outside of that the talent is not there. I would have had Buch there but we won't beat that drum tonight.

Laf, KK, and Chytl has yet to prove or do anything significant for more than a few shifts a game.

Oh, I'm an idiot, never claimed to be anything other.
You might want to save someone's quote that is reasonably intelligent like JR...never mind.

That’s a different story about Laf chytl and Kakko. Two top two picks and another first rounder you’re expecting them to contribute big time. I really expected Laf to be the player to carry that first line. He’s putting up points but I have yet to see any skill that he flashed in juniors in the pros

Kreider is still a 50 point player. Zib Panarin and strome are still all legit top 6 players. This team could use another top 9 player or upgrade at center

I think the coach and management will see what they have and what they need and make a move. I hope if they do make a move it early like before Xmas or early January

That would be optimal. Another top winger would be nice, a quality center is what we really need in the short term.

We have mika, strome, chytil. Strome or chytil has to get moved if we get a center. Who do we move?

Still waiting for Laf to take over a game. 1st overall pick looks like a middle 6 winter at best

Need at least one game where he’s the best player on the ice. Yet to see it

Wow 13k and change at MSG tonight. Fans aren’t really coming back to fast. Can’t help the cap raising next year. Lots of teams rinks only 3/4 full. The nhl is gate driven, need something to change to get the revenue up

While this team continues to develop this tough identity. They clearly have no offensive identity. They have no idea if theyre north-south or east-west. Outside of the occasional powerplay, these guys still have no idea how to gain o-zone entry and possession.

That was a crappy game to watch.
I did like seeing Panarin have his moment of puck dominance, but that was flushed down the toilet with the numerous turn overs. WTH is with these obligatory turn overs. It is hard to watch.

But hey, atleast we won faceoffs, right.

It’s simple the highest paid players on the team can’t get it done and we need the young first round picks to look worthy of where they were selected

Ehh. First home game after first road trip against a tough hard working team...Last nights game had "let down" written all over it. Lets see how they respond next game

I would typically agree with this. It happens all the time. But the concern I have for this years play is the turn overs that are occurring each game and lack of consistent offensive push.
I am not doom saying or saying sell the team. Just that needs to be righted with this new coaching. It was not this bad last year.
