You must be glad that you kept your seats. Sounds like Granato’s Sabres are fun to watch again. - Ratsreign

How can the only thing people have talked about for over a year come from out of left field? - Wetbandit1
Well played WET1
My guess is certain days like the trade deadline, draft and day before the nmc kicks in are likely dates.
Others dates = out of left field.
Hope your having a great night 👍 |

If Vegas is where Eichel goes I would want Eichel's new agents son Brendan Brisson as part of the trade...the kid is lighting it up at Michigan. Not saying the centerpiece but as part of the trade. BTW Smith just scored a nice SH'd goal |

Vin Diesel walked Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow, down the isle.
Disgusting, imo. - TheSabresTaco
What’s wrong with that?
Obviously her father isn’t around to do so |

Eichel, Skinner to CHI
for
Kane - Jet Jaguar BD
No
That doesn’t make us a contender
We need to gather younger talent |

I would think that if we could swing that then we could flip Kane for the young center ++ that we are looking for as part of a bigger trade.
That said... nobody is taking Skinner's contract

Kane's gotta bigger Cap hit then Eichel and most teams can't fit his cap. |

That's pretty much why it would come out of left field. It was talked about for so long and then didn't happen it will be a surprise when it does.

Sure, but we would be in that position with Jack anyway. We'd have to take back some celery in a trade with anyone. |

Well yeah and Chicago would have to add another 9m in cap cause we would be under the floor |

The longer this Eichel saga goes on it has an effect on both the long term and short term for this bunch.
The team could use the help now and the longer this goes on the return will diminish. It’s fair to say teams that want him want him playing soon. If this drags out into the new year it’s not hard to imagine it drags on into next offseason. On the other hand if the two sides agree to have Jack come back and play for the Sabres this year basically to show he’s 100%, this could rip the team chemistry down quicker than Donnie built it up. Can’t imagine the young kids wanting Jack to be part of their team now.
This is where a GM has to be aware that waiting for the best deal may not be best for the team. |

All the more reason that it would need to be a multi-team deal

Getting the most young talent back for Jack is what’s best for the team, period |

I saw a really good point on the Eichel return on twitter. People female dog about the risk of trading for Jack. Since when are prospects not risky? There is no guarantee that Krebs won't be the next Curtis Lazar. |

|When are people going to realize that Adams doesn't care what the media thinks or other teams think, he will wait patently for the right deal for the organization. |

Dorofeyev and Diliberatore may be starting points but that alone won't get it. |
