I agree. He was right about the culture and has made all the right moves so far. He’s now facing the biggest decision of his career. He knows he can’t put Eichel into this lineup as Donnie has this team going in the right direction and the culture has done a 180. What’s his best move? Holding out long term and maybe getting his asking price or cutting ties and bringing in a lesser return that could blow this rebuild right into a playoff fight.

He's held strong this long, and the team is playing decent hockey right know, as long as they stay competitive I think his hand gets stronger because he doesn't have to rush to move him.
