Very true!! - Buff36
I still remember how one of Ralphie's first tasks was to publicly create the great synergy with Chris Taylor. Of course, what was going on behind the scenes was the opposite of that.

Taylor wasn't up for the 1 on 1 synergy meetings. |

If memory serves me, the reports were that Ralph felt threatened by Taylor and ran him off.

Yeah, seems like Ralph had his thumb up Pegula's A$$ and was making organizational calls a HC should not be making. |

2 isn't bad at all. I just favor Dube over Pelletier and not sure we need another LD in Valimaki. |

That was my hesitation with 2 with Valimaki, but the Sabres have a couple LD that can flip. |

DeBrusk is for money and we can say bye bye as he is a UFA at the end of the year and Kravstov can be flipped or just might fit here. |

So I came across an article from a Calgary web site blogger C of Red unfiltered and they proposed a couple of trade options for Eichel, some that involved a 3rd team.
Trade #1
To Calgary: Eichel
To NYR: Sean Monahan, CGY 3rd rd pick (23), BUF 2nd rd pick (23)
To Buffalo: Kravtzov, Ryan Strome, Nikita Zadorov, Connor Zary, CGY 1st (22), 2nd (22)
Trade #2
To Buffalo: Jake Debrusk, Jakob Pelletier, Connor Zary, Jusso Valimaki and CGY 1st (22)
To Boston: Sean Monahan and BUF 3rd rd (22)
To Calgary: Eichel
Trade #3
To Boston: Sean Monahan
To Calgary: Jake DeBrusk and John Moore
Calgary then flips DeBrusk and Moore, as well as Zadorov, Zary and Matthew Coronato and a 22 1st to Buffalo for Eichel
Trade 4
To Calgary: Eichel
To NYR: Monahan, Rory Kerins BUF 2nd rd (23)
To Buffalo: Kravtzov, Ryan Strome, Dillon Dube, Zary CGY 1st (22) and 3rd (23)
Trade 5
To Calgary: Eichel
To Buffalo: Monahan, Zadorov, Zary, Pelletier, Valmaki and CGY 1st (22)
Getting Zary and Dube will look good for the Sabres future and they can always flip Strome and Kravtsov at the deadline if they wish. So I like trade #4. - mhp
None of them make me jump for it, not really getting the center we need

I believe that it was reported here. It does make sense - Taylor wasn't brought back after the season despite getting good reviews. I wonder if Ralph had become aware of the Pegula's fascination with hiring from within (as they did again with Adams). |

The Blackhawks are revealing their independent findings at 2. This oughta be good, regardless. |

I think one of two things happens:
a) Nothing
b) They use it as an excuse to clean house |

I am not sure if it's been mentioned but no suspension or fine for Stamkos on the hit on Cozens
That's two games in a row Stamkos has taken liberties on a player. Their previous game he boarded Girardi bad. |

I wanted to ask you:
Do refs have favorite teams league wide you think? Kucherov low bridges Sobotka and nothing. Cernak gives Dahlin an elbow to the chin, not even a call by the league. Cozens gets drilled high by Stammer...nada.
Seems to be a pattern. Whether it is conscious or not, I wondered how much bias you thought existed in the league.
It's games like yesterday which make me understand why the Rangers (dumbly) traded for Reeves. |

If Tallon wouldn’t have overpaid Stralman so badly, I wouldn’t mind him still being on the Panthers as their 6/7 D. They needed to free up his cap space, so he had to go.

Is the Sam bet total points, or goals only? - Ratsreign
Nice, good for sam. The guy picked right after him just rang up his 200th nhl goal....
The bet is : total points for Great28A and goaloffson
2 goals 3 assists and 4 goals 2 assists = 11 points
Vs.
Sam 2 goals and 3 assists
So I'm basically up a goaloffson..... and feeling very comfy in my girgensons pjs. ☝️
