I read the Blog….I never saw RAPE on there. Not trying to downplay inappropriate behaviour , harassment and Unwelcomed sexual/physical contact but rape adds a violent connotation that I’m not sure belongs….unless I missed something, your post seems hyperbolic.

Wondering if John Doe is Akim Aliu. He hasn’t been shy about calling out ex-teammates/coaches well after the fact for how he’d been treated. He is right around the age (20 until late April), a prospect in the hawks system, and that was the same year previously in the news for Bill Peters’ choice of slang when referring to Aliu while they were both in Rockford.

Whoever it was doesn’t change anything, but it’s an interesting puzzle to try solving with such limited (specific) information and resources from 11 years ago.

It depends. Quennville wasn't there for the whole meeting. He knew SOMETHING was going on, but it's unclear if he knew specifics. If he knew specifics, he's probably gone.

By the way, a "witch hunt" is not usually a term that's used when a group of adults cover-up a rape/sexual assault. I know you're trying to be funny/edgy, but it's not something to be taken lightly.

The real tragedy is management did nothing to address the problem, in fact they gave him a recommendation letter, when he should of been out of the business and facing charges.

Stan Bowman's letter is a joke and is symptomatic of the underlying problem in this whole case, he made it seem as if he was stepping down over poor team performance and difference of opinion , heck ownership wished him luck. He's a damn coward that didn't own up to anything over the course of this investigation.

Lets not crucify them all until the truth comes out.
And that's exactly what "theories" turn into "witch hunts" where we accuse everyone until we know something and then pick and choose who're gonna forgive after their lives and careers are destroyed
