Rathbone has not been good at all this season. OJ better defensively and kills penalties. Rathbone could have safely been sent down and now with Poolman injured, they need another D for the PP.

Petey Boeser and Hughes have one goal each after 7 games but Green thinks Pods is the problem

First game after road trip ... I always like to bet against the home team in that scenario. It just feels kinda stale out there offensively. Whenever they have any kind of control it looks like they’re just collecting it and getting it to Hughes expecting him to do something every time.

my lines also didn't have miller as a 3C. I don't think he is good enough to be a center, and the experimenting lines in preseason were indicitive of that. I wanted 3 evenly scoring lines with a 4th line that plays low minutes and PK.

Pearson - Dlckinson - Pod
Bailey - Downling - Highmore (or something of that nature)

That is the top 9 I was promoting going back to the preseason. Green refuses to try Pearson off Bo's wing for more than a single shift every 4 games.


I think a 3rd line with D!ckie and Pearson together could be a good shut down line and let Bo flourish offensively.

It's quite obvious that this team misses it's cornerstone.
