Where is Aldrich currently?Jail or on bail pending court or what does anyone know? And yes this pos needs to run into a deliverance type jail experience. - eagle50
I Googled Aldrich last night and it seems like he is doing quite well. His business looks like it is quite successful. One site (it was still there last night) even states his tenure with the Blackhawks in his profile.
This guy has already ruined the lives of many people and this list will probably continue to grow in the coming weeks. Yet all I am reading is these continuous attacks on everyone but him. Let's put the blame where it really lies. |

Yes, Yes, Yes - he seems to be the forgotten (and primary) element in all this
Our old friend, Al, posted this about him...what do you want to bet the familial connection in the NHL led at least in part to the soft landing the Hawks gave him?

There are more layers to the Aldrich story that probably come out down the road whether the case is tossed in court or not. He was hired in 2008 while Tallon was the GM and his father has worked for SJ as an equipment manager since 1996. Brad always seemed to land a hockey job...

Aldrich is a sexual predator......we all know that. If we want to get technical....sure.....he's the root of all this......
However, to not hate that ego bumhole who blew a chance to defuse this 11+ years ago and THE person in power to do so given 1st shot......sorry......not going to relent here.
Time for the local media to go find that scum in whatever rock he crawled under after getting canned before all this went to court. |

So, Mr. Bettman, what does it say about the NHL that the son of your winningest coach and your 2nd winningest coach didn't know the right thing to do in this scandal?
I'm sure the memo that the NHL sent to the front offices reminding them not to do this poop will change everything.
Feels like I have moved on from shock and denial and jumped straight to anger. |

He never did like to get in front of the camera during the bad times...he'd parade out the offending player(s) or send Stanley, etc.

Typically, Jeremy Colliton replaces Quenneville when he’s fired early in the season.

During a winning streak he was everywhere. As little as a two game losing streak and he would disappear. Every time. Your last sentence is spot on. |

Sportsnet has a good article on why the Hawk players didn’t do more.

Spector is a garbage reporter
To say Beach was a "teammate", sure, technically. In the same way that I am a "teammate" to the guys I play pickup with that I've barely said hello to
Beach was an AHL player, who skated in the Black Aces (Who at time don't even practice with the active team, they skate on their own) and then was an AHLer for the rest of his term with the Hawks
To expect that Toews, Kane or Keith would have some kind of overbearing relationship with this player is a stretch at best
They're trying to frame it like Toews skated on the same line as this guy for 5 years and didn't do anything about it, while simultaneously knowing all of the details

And this is where your entire point falls on it's face - Kyle Beach played ZERO games in the NHL, so Toews wasn't around. All his bullying and incidents happened in the AHL. - Tanuki

Does it say who bullied? Where? When? You can't just say he was bullied without giving some actual facts. And if he was bullied, those players that did it or allowed it should be culpable. FIND THEM. I know it's easy to just say "prosecute them all", but that's not how justice works.
Boynton and Sopel saying "everyone knew" sounds good, but any context? ZERO context and neither can demonstrate a single example proving EVERYONE knew. Just "they know everyone knew". How did they know? 25 men in a locker room unless they were actually have a full scale "team meeting" to bully or mock then you can not prove to me that some player zoned out in front of his locker picked up every single conversation that took place without something called PROOF.

There is a lot of truth here.
Chances are, these players (Toews, Kane, Keith, etc) had no clue at the time or thru the playoffs and even summer. I'm sure as the rumors flew and the season started was when more knew (?) maybe....but its not as if Duncan Keith hing out with the guy and/or had any reason to.
Keith prob hung with a few D men his same age - in workout and meal groups. These guys go to the rink and home and dont hang out with AHL call ups.
Now not to say the following year more came out, etc - who knows that.
But this framing/going after the players...
Interesting that Beach called out the media. Said they knew.
Notice none of the media is questioning each other?
Who in the media looked the other way in order to get favorable coverage by McDonough?
All those media guys are covering for each other. Calling out players- who were early 20's at the time - yet NONE are calling at their own.
