Fair but I just can’t sit here and think 19/88/2 and others knew but Wirtz didn’t. Beach specifically names media and yet nobody is looking into them.

And I think it’s very fair to question what Eddie o, Troy Murray, Weiderman, and foley knew. They don’t ask bowman or q about what happened about Brad or standing around when all these front office people are hearing the rumors which the report verified and didn’t address ALL variations that they knew nothing? National media isn’t asking Eddie o with his connections?

i just asked the question, I did not opine either way. Maybe with what happened in the USA Gymnastic team, the last thing the USA Olympic Committe wants is any blowback. You know some organization or group (and probably not hockey related) will protest his selection.

If true this is far reaching. If Q is fired/resigns I wonder this will prevent him from what should be a certainty, getting into the Hall of Fame?

They all knew and are now attacking the leftover players under the guise "everyone knew"....but the media - running cover for themselves and McD/Aldrich. Why?

one thing I fault Danny wirtz is he had to know earlier this year that Bowman was in the meeting. how did he sign off on trading 3 firsts and signing a guy for 9.5 mil on a rebuild. Looks like the move set us back years unless things change dramatically. Fluery trade, Johnson trade and mcabb signing were not really mortgaging the future. Cole S and boquist both look like NHL players and we give up what would be more then likely a 4-8 pick in this coming draft. Maybe we jump lotto and get a top 2.

100% they are....they all had a responsibility after whatever time frame each own person felt was a reasonable time to press McDonough after that May 23rd meeting.

I read the entire report. It reads at times like an obvious cover up with people refusing to acknowledge who they gave intel to...example...employee A not saying that it was McIsaac she told about Aldrich sending the picture to black ace when she was literally standing right next to him when he got it, and pressed him he needed to tell somebody about it.

In hindsight I wish I did NOT read it.

This wasn't Q just deciding out of the blue to resign......read the letter from Bettman....they ALL decided it was time for him to step aside....like bowman....he just got the courtesy of resigning vs being fired.

Wild that this happened the same year as the Bill Peters/Akim Aliu incident.
