I'm halfway through the TSN interview. This is disturbing on so many levels. It's hard to believe this happened in 2010. Post Sandusky. Post all of the training about sexual harassment, Safe Sport, etc.
I've lost all respect for anyone that played on that team during that time. - Robert's Plant
I haven't seen the whole thing yet, but will.

He brings something the flyers needed in a big way, his physicality was desperately needed. It doesn't show up in the fancy stats people want to use to judge him. His crushing hit on mcavoy which led to a PP goal, was the result of his play. That doesnt show up in the fancy stats either
And perhaps he sets the tone for the reason the flyers have more push back and backing one another up this year.
But haters gonna hate - bradster
RR is much better than a #4/5, he is a solid #3 that can slip into the top pairing when needed. |

Seems all of management and hockey ops knew but did all the players know and not report? - Hextall271
Toews and Kane feigned ignorance. I don't buy it.

Absolutely true! This man, kid at the time, was a promising 1st Rounder. He was basically run out of town - called a bust! Many articles were written on that as well. I wonder why he was "a bust". Sad - really sad. I wish him well. I must admit that it took and takes great courage to do this.
If Q keeps his job in Florida - you know it's like politics - not about what's right or wrong - it's about the money. - RustyPipes
If all that comes out that he was shoved aside because he complained she should sue the black hawks for a mint. Lost wages pain and suffering etc. Holy.

Good win last night.
Can't make it up that Ellis is injured already. |

You'd think if Karma was a real thing the Flyers would have won in 2010 right? - PLindbergh31

If, and only if, the evidence supports it I agree. What I don't want is a witch-hunt just for appeasement. - jd250
Q and Chevy knew. No way they couldn't.

I live in Manitoba and many many Jets fans want Chevy’s firing to happen and are really upset that ownership, Mark Chipman has stated he supports Chevy.
Many are stating they will not support True North and the Jets if he remains with the organization and believe he should be suspended until his meeting.
Chevy will not resign but man is the pressure on him in this province from media and fans. |

Hard not to be pleased with the team’s start. Have beaten Boston and Edmonton and lost a a very winnable game against the Panthers due to bad penalties / decisions. All while dealing with key injuries too. |

Dont forget that they probably should have beaten Vancouver at home. |

People talking about how bad certain players have been like Risto/Sanheim/Thompson/NAK and rightfully so. But rarely anyone mentioning how bad JVR has been so far. - Buzzo
I don't think he's been playing badly at all. Very involved, competitive on pucks, making nifty plays, just hasn't cashed in yet. |

Sheldon Kennedy/Graham James was still fresh in everybody's memory at the time, too. Theo Fleury's book came out a few months before the Finals.
The entire thing is just scummy and gross. I can't believe Toews is out there still lying about knowing what was going on, and still defending Stan Bowman this morning.

Sure, if the reports are true and they were part of that meeting then yes they knew. But knowing is not a crime in itself. If both walked out of that meeting thinking that the GM and President were taking action to address the situation then I'm not sure what else they could have done. Now, if more players went to them complaining about this and they did not report it, then I would say they should be held accountable. |

Aldrich was on Q's staff. He could have put his foot down and said he's not gonna stomach that guy being around the team/players/kids anymore.
Instead, they just pretended like nothing happened. The pictures at the end of the report says it all. Aldrich raising the Cup with Q and all the rest with their arms around him. Management happily shaking his hand at the parade. Letting him have a day with the Cup. |

Impressed by Hart last night. That can be the kind of game that really snowballs but he held it down.
Great job. |

I tend to not side with the noise early on. This however, as a full investigation. There is history of Aldrich having done this to a teen.
As far as I am concerned, most of those in senior Blackhawk positions, Quenneville, and the teammates who made fun of Beach can rot in hell.
Take the bullpoop technicalities out of it of who is legally responsible. What happened to being human? There is something more important than winning a stupid championship. Aldrich was a video guy, and nothing more. It was an inconvenient truth to them. |

What I cant grasp is whatever player knew, and some did, how do you not go and beat the piss out of that guy? How does Beach not do it or call his buddies up to take care of business? Diff times I guess.

In the investigation report Beach said Aldrich threatened to ruin his NHL career AND lied saying he had an inside aid for getting Beach permanently on the Blackhawks. |
