Agree. A lot of people said they were also gonna wait to see him play. While we have, season is still young. New team, new coach, injury. I think he will be fine on the second line. Unlike Buffalo. He doesn’t have to play 25 mins a night.

Just 20 minutes a night unfortunately.

If when the d is healthy I would think 18-19 min range. I’m sure seeker is pulling a ton of minutes at the moment.

Also. Last game he did get some pp minutes. So maybe 20 considering

Impressed by Hart last night. That can be the kind of game that really snowballs but he held it down.

Great job.

I can agree with this comment. It looked at times that during 5-5 play, the Oilers were on a PP. Hart came up big, maybe, and a very slight maybe at that, he should have stopped Barrie's backhander. Other than that, he stood strong

I thought the stars of the game last night were Hart and the Oil's goalie. Hart played well aside from the first goal and the Oil's goalie was pretty damn bad to be honest. Getting really concerned with this Ellis injury. If it's hip/groin we all know that can linger through the year. The Hawks should forfeit their Cup from 2010 and give it to the second place finishers that year! That's right.....Flyers are 2010 Stanley Cup Champions!!!

Seeler? Are you sure you don't mean Braun? Seeler is averaging 12:49 per game.

Yes seeler.

When healthy that 3 rd pair should be able to play 15-17 a night.

Atkinsons been all we could hope, Risto looks better each game, Giroux is playing some great hockey but Braun has got to be one of the brighter spots as well, He's filling in top line last few games and doing an admirable job.

Two hours and change until puck drop…The after dark thing seems harder the second night in a row. However, two points on the line so get it done, team!

Let’s go Flyers!

I'm looking forward to a good game tonight. I too sat on the edge of my seat last night. Every time McDavid was out there I.was holding my breath. He was out so much I think I blacked out a couple of times.
The Flyers are playing that swarming defense a bit. I see a little more each game.
I feared the Oilers most on this trip so I'm hopeful we get a good effort and better outcome.
Go Flyers!

I wouldn't sleep on the Flames. They've been tearing it up on this current road trip although the one advantage the Flyers may have in that one is the fact that will be Calgary's first home game after the road trip.

I cant wait to win tomorrow and then watch people complain about RR

I'm totally convinved that people that who dont know the value to the team that RR brings, is greater than his stats, have never played a competitive sport before. They will never understand it

Risto has played 3 games, each a little better than the last. Way too early to determine how he looks as a Flyer.

It is too early to make any final judgement. However if we can judge other players than we can also judge Ristolainen. My early judgement, which is not a final judgement is not favorable. We'll see how he plays tonight.

A little, but of all the acquisitions, Risto is the hardest to predict and in my thinking, should get the longest look before drawing conclusions. For all the reasons that have been said before…was with the Sabres, turnstile of coaches, played to high in the lineup, without a quality, stable top-pairing partner, now new team, system, coaches and new partner. We’ll see.

Likely why it was a trade for the season and not an immediate trade and sign long tern. Doubt anyone would have been as concerned with the "cost" of RR had the team signed him right away for a few years, but he's such a unique talent to determine how he will (or won't) fit, and what a real value is, that the team was smart enough to know to wait I actually expected a 3-5 year deal to be announced with him the day we traded, only thing that hurts the team is these absurd contracts given to Jones and Nurse who are good D Men but not necessarily those kind of numbers in a flat cap good.

I think he's pretty easy to predict. What we can't predict is if he is going to be able to improve. What kind of player he is and has been makes it easy to predict, not harder in my view.

So let me get this straight. You give up a 1st round pick, a 2nd round pick and a roster player for him and you need to wait to see how he'll fit? In what world does that make sense? You give up that on a player that you are sure about, that will be a difference maker. Not a player where there are doubts and you have to see what his real value is. Did they get a money back guarantee where if not satisfied within 30 days they can return him for a full refund?

5 games in is there any doubt that Atkinson or Ellis are a fit?

Remember how embarrassing it was that he chose to go to Florida instead of Philly?
