So, I'm still going with Babcock on a 2 year deal. Choose your own assistants, keep the goalie coach.
I wan't a veteran coach, he has a pretty decent resume. He's had some time off to grow, calm down a bit and maybe learn. He can probably light a fire under the team.
I think a loss tomorrow would be bad, a loss tomorrow and Tuesday tragic for Green. Maybe even either/or. |

I thought it was funny too. Sorry, I probably should have responded as such. You don't post stuff to trigger division like some on here. I saw this one and thought it was funny as well. I didn't take offence at your post. - Shuswap Wap

My buddy just sent me this. Looks like the fans aren't the only ones tired of green.

pffft.
Big deal.
So Green said called out Brock for something and Brock shook his head.
I'm with Green on that one.
Brock needs to start picking those corners.

If you canned Green now, you'd have to go with a veteran coach...I can imagine that many on here would have a problem with whomever was hired as a replacement.
I not at the 'fire the coach' stage just yet.
I still think the problem lies with Boeser and Petey not scoring. |

Caps and Yotes scoreless with thirteen minutes left.
Everyone scores a half dozen against the Yotes. |

I'm all for player accountability, but not once, in his entire tenure as HC, have I heard Travis Green take ownership of any failure.
I also don't blame Brock for being pissed off. He's been the most consistent scorer on the team for the last 3 years, and he gets bumped off PP1 to PP2 (for chaisson of all people and the PP has never looked worse) and gets new lines mates every game and new line mates shift to shift. I'd shake my head too |

Just made grilled halibut with a blueberry sauce, something I came up with a few year ago, I call it Hali Berry's Butt, it's great. |

As I said before I believe in freedom of choice and stay out of the discussion. I posted that because it was funny only. I understand the anti vaccine choice . It is not what I would chose but again I understand the decision you chose. - VANTEL
I don’t, not one person has ever made a reasonable, legitimate argument about why they wouldn’t, aside from “my body my right”. That’s a horse sh it reason. |

Babcock won’t coach again - CanuckDon
Because he was mean?
Let's say we're a team, just thrown together. Do you think Babcock has been meaner to his team than we've been to each other?
I've witnessed pretty much everyone here including myself either mock, slander, belittle..........(you name it) other posters.
It's insane to hold him to a higher standard than we hold ourselves. Maybe the world is changing too quickly for me. |

I think with this whole Blackhawks story, teams are going to be extremely careful, especially around the "old boys club" type folk. The Babcock/Marner incident probably cemented his retirement from the league given how progressive the league wants/needs to be, especially after yesterday's events. |

Maybe it has.
Maybe it shouldn't.
Why did Backcock ask that question to Marner? What prompted that? Why is Babcock gone and Marner earning a league laughable 11M?
I find us very quick to make harsh judgement without knowing what is really going on. |
