I thought that line as a whole has been stepping up the last couple games
- ClaudeFather

Me as well...Lindbolm has been winning the vast majority of his board battles and has been feeding the puck well to JVR and Laughts. They just haven't been burying them.

He clearly has another gear to get to but he is far from the least impactful on the ice.

Oscar. While he doesn’t have the points yet. He is much stronger on the puck and is doing well in his board battles.

ESPNs top 100 players prediction for this season...

First Flyer is Giroux at 69. Ellis at 71. Provy at 98.

Crosby not in the top 10 (he's 11). Adam Fox is 8.

Lindblom has been the most invisible forward this season. Forget he is playing most games.
- kennygarcon

I disagree completely. He has been very strong on the puck on the walls and has had a decent amount of scoring chances as well as playing well away from the puck. That line just doesn't gel with grade A chances.

I just had to check to make sure I didn't miss him. He didn't make it, not even in the "just missed" list.

We're getting points without our #2 center and top pair dman. Good sign.

Flames have a tough line-up. Another good test for us.

When Hayes returns in November our 3rd line will be Lindblom/Laughton - Brassard - JVR.

Creates a stronger 4th line as well.

So then Oscar or jvr to the 4 th line.

Also think NAK would be 13 th. Guessing if they send him down he gets claimed. Brown will def be waived imo.

- Peter Richards

No, they stay on the 3rd line with Brassard centering them. Laughts moves to 4th line wing where I think he is better suited.

We seem heavy on wing for sure. Feel jvr would be harder to move in season just due to the cap hit. But always possible I guess. Here’s hoping another team makes a bad decision and gives us gold.

But I don’t see it in season. Could be wrong.

- Peter Richards

I think JVR will be moved this off season, because the Flyers will need the cap space to resign RR, G and now it looks like even Jones.

I doubt this very much. The Brassard line will stay together. At least Brassard and Atkinson will.
- SuperSchennBros

So you are going to move Cam out of the top 6?? Your potential best goal scorer? I don't think so. But likewise when Hayes returns and gets back to form, you are going to keep him out of your top 6 too?? I don't see it.

low, they win one for the new coach. But give it a few weeks and the players will start slacking off.

true, that line is just not finishing right now. BTW, what a ridiculous call against Lindblom late in the 3rd last night ... the refs really screwed that game up in the last 10 minutes.

It doesn’t matter what line Atkinson plays on as long as he’s scoring. If Brassard and Atkinson play on the third line together, it doesn’t hurt their product. Line three is just a number.

Nice contract for Rielly btw... he probably could have held firm for $9M+ but took a discount.

Very small sample size to suggest that they will need to worry about resigning RR and Jones. Jones has pleasantly surprised me so far, but again, just 2 games played so far.
