You know he needs to be canned but the question is when?

The longer it takes the worse it's going to be. At what date does Miller's agent call Jim and ask for a trade?

Firing Green also makes Benning look really bad and Aquilini look like a fool, but he does that easy.

I think both things are going to happen this year at sometime. I am not sure this is going to be a good year.

Too late to worry about that. Even if they wait....

I'm listening to the game on radio feed while I play War Thunder. Thinking of turning the Canucks game off so I can hear enemies approaching better.

I mean last year he signed a backup goalie for 4 mil that he bought out the next year and ‘took advantage’ of a strapped gm and got the same return for Schmidt the next year ... all the while he didn’t have time between jimmy buffet trips to call toffoli.

It doesn’t appear he cares about looking bad.

I'm not sour about the Holtby signing. First off, when the contract was signed, Demko wasn't the proven starter yet. He had a few hot games in the playoffs but wasn't that solid before that. They needed to sign a 2nd goalie who possibly could be a starter short term while Demko developed another season.

You are rewriting history.

I see what you’re saying but it’s not like demko was a 20 year old ... he was mid 20’s and if you’re letting marky go because demmer is your guy, then u gotta stand by that. If they signed a vet like stalock or one of those million $ vets they could have kept tanev or toffoli. If they didn’t do schmidt, they maybe could have kept both. Holtby’s #’s had also dropped dramatically year over year for several years and I have no idea why he felt he had to give 4+ million ... who was he bidding against? I was pissed about these things as soon as they happened and posted as such here.

You are spinning it the same way again. It wasn't a case of Demko being "your guy", its a case of him going to be that guy, but when? They let Marky go because he wanted term and that would have blocked Demko further down the road. They wanted a potential short term starter. You are omitting the facts.

When is the last time this team didn’t rely on goaltending to look average?
