He's a good player. He's not a 10 million-plus player. He's scored more than 25 goals once, he never got to a point per game, and he's disappeared in the playoffs every time they've made it. Most people also still think Brady has more upside than Matthew.
He was a superstar three years ago, a little worse two years ago, a little worse than that last year, and a little bit worse again to start this year. That's not the trend you want to see. If he gets to 40 goals and 90 points this year, sure give him 10 million, but do you really think that's going to happen?
