Even since the first game the lower bowl has looked like pre-season attendance. Sure it has fluctuated but if you don't think it's a factor you are fooling your self bud.

I know many folks in BC and AB who are fully vaxxed and won't support it.

Is what it is.

I guess hockey isn't the trending topic here today after a win?
- VanHockeyGuy

Only after losses do they talk hockey on here. Nevermind Demko outdueling one of the hottest goalie in the league, let’s wait for a loss to complain!

Sure, they won, good for them. But before we jump the gun, and say they turned the corner, a few points:

- They were down 2-0 into close to midway through the 3rd period.
- Once again, they were outworked and outchanced 5v5, and their goals were not from high danger chances
- They had to rely on a PHENOMENAL Demko performance late in the 3rd to kill off a 5 on 3.
- Other than Miller, once again, the Lotto line was silent for most of the game 5v5.

A win is a win, but I didn't see any real improvement in the team's play, only that they got bailed out once again by Thatcher "George Vezina" Demko and should have lost. You can't rely on that sort of goaltending, or expect it to be sustainable, if you want to make the playoffs. You also at some point need to generate offense 5v5 and start getting chances in the slot and actually capitalize on those chance.

Vancouver had many high danger chances. And the goals weren't low danger flukes. Miller was no less dangerous than Zibs goal, and Podks was much more dangerous than Panarins. The boys had a good night and were rewarded with 2 points.

Sheterkin played very well, the goals were all from quality spots/oppertunity

It's always the same people

I've watched that sequence with Demko losing his blocker and making a scorpion save at least 3 times today, that was the most exciting sequence of the year so far

Shesterkin is probably the only guy in the group of young goalies in the league(20-25) who I consider to have higher potential than Demko, kid is absolutley insane.

Haven't seen Makita around in awhile, he's probably had enough, can't say I'd blame him.

Can't ensure everyone gets vaccinated. Have you heard of people whose bodies are so immune compromised that they are allergic to the vaccine but are cavalier about the pandemic.

It's like, bro you're the fat kid in class allergic to a peanut. Stop talking like you want peanut butter for class lunch.

You are correct. He did that last year leading the charge on the BLM crap. How admirable that Hockey has become political. Enjoy.

You mean 2 years ago during the bubble?
Man you have to get over it

And hockey will forever be political as long as we continue to mindlessly sing the anthem and continue to have these stupid themed and dedication nights. It only remains polarizing and talked about because people continue to talk about it.

The game was extremely exciting last night and the topics in here are: attendance, vaccination passports, and what Bo chooses to stand up for.

Thx Dad lol.

I just think Bo should focus on playing tough Hockey and being a proper Captain.

The game was good last night so back to Hockey.

Hopefully Green moves garland up after a 2 point game.

Plus Pearson needs to be on the third line and Boeser back on PP1 with Hughes and OEL on PP1 as well. Can rotate Horvat and Chiasson in as needed.

But again, he made those comments 2 years ago. Why are we talking about them still? Who cares

i am just baffled to come in and see that this is what is being talked about

I really enjoyed the game last night. I thought the 3rd period and OT were exciting. PP was awful, they aren't generating much at 5v5, but they also aren't giving up much at 5v5 either.

Imagine thinking we got dominated and only won because of demko when we out shot them 36-22. We heavily out chanced them 5 v 5 as well. Demko had a quiet night other than that crazy sequence in the 3rd
