Is there a point of a 2nd powerplay unit? I just don’t see them ever scoring

Yea I’m gonna have to go back to my point about how we play like 20 minutes a game of real hockey. Not sustainable. 2 goals per game is brutal

This teams lack of offense is going to be annoying all season isn’t it

Next 3 games are Edmonton, Calgary and Florida. Might get swept if they don’t start playing 60 mins

All the top guys are sloppy every game. Last year the offense was more crisp for sure. Every other part of the game was just awful.

Miller and trouba are due for a goal against a game. Kakko 0 points in 5 games. If he doesn’t hit 35 points this year the bust label is real.

J.T. Miller gets some revenge in a game the Rangers didn't deserve to come out with a single point, with the exception for Shesty & the penalty killers who all combined kept them in the game, yet somehow with also having a 2-0 lead through the second.

Then their fate changed, despite Panarin's two points in a goal & an assist. The other good was Fox's 2 assists in reaching 100 career points, plus Zib's goal in directing in Panarin's pass from in close. Those along with Panarin later immediately firing in a shot from the point directly off a clean faceoff win by Strome back to Fox, across to Panarin, for their second goal just THREE (correct, 3 seconds) into a power play for their 2-0 with 6:47 remaining in the 2nd. That lead despite the Rangers being outshot badly again, this time by a 20 to 12 count through that point, due to needing to kill off 5 penalties just a little more than halfway through regulation, including two surprisingly taken by one of their top backline penalty killers in Fox himself.

This dominating offensive zone play by Seattle and Vancouver must be prevented to have any chance at winning in Edmonton and Calgary, starting first and foremost with them staying out of the penalty box. Then when having scoring chances, they must take quicker & when available, instant shot attempts off as on Panarin's goal. That instead of one too many times either overpassing, or holding onto the puck too long awaiting for a closer in opportunity to shoot, as if attempting to score only highlight reel looking goals.

Lets just keep in mind that this team should really only have like 2 wins, if not for Shesty being super human.

I know. I fell asleep in the 2nd intermission and woke up to them facing off for OT. Rude awaking.

Yep they are 10 games in now and really have only played one complete solid game, the win over Columbus. The new coach and system excuses have to end soon. Igor is the only reason this team playoff hopes aren’t already gone lol

My biggest issue so far is where is the secondary scoring going to come from? If Zib, Panarin, Kreider or Fox aren’t putting up the points who will chip in? This team is now maxed out cap wise for the future. No one else is coming in to help out. Are they a team that can only win if they grind out 2-1 or 3-2 wins?

My biggest gripe is how the team continues to look like a group of individuals rather than a team in sync. Which reinforces your concern with secondary scoring.

It’s a little alarming to that Gallant keeps saying in the post game interviews the team is playing great. I really hope he isn’t satisfied with the play so far. Maybe he just doesn’t want to trash the team to the media

Game 20 is the day before Thanksgiving. Things should be pretty clear by then.

Would be nice to have a Kravstov to give this team a bottom 6 spark

Tough loss as the sked get worst with the teams coming up. Still say I’ll wait for the 20 game mark to see what the team really is. And KK needs to go to the A , he adds nothing to the team right now.

(frank) Kravtsov right to the moon!!!
He quit and he's gone. Good riddance.
We can all female dog all we want about the way they're playing lately (and be justified, to an extent), but this is our team. They don't have much wiggle room to make changes anymore. So, we need to strap in and hope they can come together.
There is constant talk about Breadman and Mika not being themselves, yet Panarin is at a point per game and Zib just behind. They will each end up around 100 points.
I still believe Kaapo, Laf, and Miller will all be just fine. What they need to learn, IMO, is that at this level you can't take it easy for a single second and you can't take a single action for granted.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well.
