But Vegas is writing off this season in that trade probably. Eichel's surgery and recovery is expected to take 3 to 5 months and not very likely he comes back playing in top form. They also gave up a very good roster player in that deal with no replacement to be seen. They haven't been dominant at all this season so there's a decent chance they don't make the playoffs. Then there is the risk with that back surgery that Eichel won't ever be the player he was.

Buffalo gets a quality player, a very good prospect and a 1st for a player who is suffering a career threatening injury and announced to the world he wants off that team.

Hogs needs to be up with Bo to be productive. Buried in the bottom 6 by Green will not help him. If last year showed us anything is that Hogs is a good mix with Bo. I commented that after 10 games Pearson should be 3L material and we are there. Garland in the bottom 6 is beyond bad coaching IMO Green is just pulling a Babcock the arrogant pr*ick.

OEL hasn’t been a problem (yet), I’m pretty sure he has more points than Edler, who he replaced so it’s all good. Baby steps.
