Seeler is playing better hockey than Ristolainen and Sanheim. Sanheim in particular has really struggled in this game. He needs to get his head out of his ass. - MJL
Why do you have to include Risto in every negative comment you make .. its like its a nervous tick with you ... |

Remember when we were averaging 4 goal a game earlier this season?
That was fun! |

It's simple, the 2nd pairing has been and is a disaster.

Maybe we should have traded Sanheim instead of Myers lol - arichardson22
As you can see this season, Myers truly did Suck with a capital 'S'. Sanheim was right behind him, and you might recall this summer I didn't want the Flyers to extend him. He is awful defensively and when he is not generating offense, he is just another liability. |

You can arrange hamburger in lots of different configurations, but you can't turn hamburger into filet mignon. Good night!!! |

Rough start but started to get their legs in the last 10 minutes…Hart has also settled in. Agree they need a solid start to the 2nd…they are clearly the better team. - landros 2
It didn’t go well…still down a goal.

But .. OK .. its not Risto's fault! I'm watching closely tonight and once again he is playing very solid defense. I don't know what you want from this guy.
In general, what is really jumping out at me is just how many puck battles the Flyers are losing, all over the ice. Really, the Flyers should be dominating this game but they are getting beat badly along the walls. |

Not sure but it's every game pretty much. The 2nd line getting shellacked. The 2nd pairing again a disaster mostly due to Sanheim tonight. They're getting absolutely nothing out of the 2nd line. |

This isn't "Calgary game" bad but it's been a struggle. I feel like the timing is off with everyone with the passing. |

No he's not! He was oblivious on the Pens first goal and has been beaten around the net for at least 2 other grade A chances where he failed to neutralize a player. His partner is far worse tonight.

Seeler is such a disaster, you cannot play a 2 on 1 and worse than that!! - jd250
He is struggling but Sanheim is the reason that happend. He’s bad tonight…it really looks like a confidence thing. RR is trying his best to cover for his partners mistakes but it’s tough. |

Even the top line can’t make a play 5 on 5…..had it going for a few stretches but it’s been a struggle.

Thank you!! See MJL, this is how you properly dis a Flyers player who deserves it, you blast the player while at the same time calling out how good RR is ... work on this now! |

Same thing I said after the first…lol…but now they need to start the 3rd that way…lol. Hart has given them a chance to still win this thing. |

You are delusional! I just watched the intermission report where they showed all the great saves from Hart this game, only ONE big save was made with RR on the ice! Most of the great saves happened with Seeler, Yandle and Sanheim on the ice! |

He wasn’t at fault at all. He was in position…konecny with a poor play and Sanheim out way to far, when we didn’t have the puck. |

I get the "hard to play against" thing with Ristolainen, I do. I just wish more of his hits, you know, actually led to changes of possession. Because so many of them are followed by more time in the d-zone.

Hart has been great or this game would be out of hand. I will accept any shuffling of wingers in the top 3 lines. Come on coaches! If Sanheim keeps this up, please bench him.

Ristolainen has been on the ice for 6 high danger chances against through 2 periods. He failed to cover the goal scorer or get in the shooting lane and knock down a weak wrister from the point on the Pens first goal. He was directly beaten around the net twice for grade A goal mouth plays. They never show all the saves a goalie makes, only the highlight saves.
