I REALLY want Parise to score tonight.

Please, please, please Hockey Gods... 🙏

- Wildschwein

I think he’s close to breaking out. He just missed on a pass he deflected towards the goal as he was driving the net last night. Plus was flying all over the ice and was by far the best I’ve seen him play - of the games I’ve watched. I think he’ll start putting up points as he’s getting used to JGP and Wally’s style of play. This team is fun to watch when all four lines are clicking. Hope Varly has a good outing too!!

It wouldn’t surprise me if they were physically (and maybe even emotionally) wiped after last nights game.

Regardless if they are or aren’t, I hope the boys don’t take them lightly.

- Wildschwein

I don’t think they will. Hopefully Varlamov shakes the rust real quick.

Both him and Palmieri are due. They’re playing great and doing good things if that continues it’s only a matter of time. Hopefully they both get their firsts tonight.

Yes agree. Palms was close on a couple last night too. Both guys working and getting opportunities. Only a matter of time.

Yeah man that would be excellent. Watching the replay if the Pens/Wild game. First time seeing the Wild this year and they look great. Move the puck really well and are physical. Hopefully they wore themselves out last night going to OT.

Really hope the Islanders wore themselves out. The Wild have given up 4 goals in their last 4 so I don’t see them winning like that against the Islanders. Hoping Zuccarello is back and Kauhkonen is sharp. Parise should get a great reception.

Both teams played and traveled the Wild a bit further but it should be a good game. I expect both teams to come out strong and try to take an early lead before they start to break down.

This goal scored by McDavid the other night against the Rangers is just insane.

That was some Winnipeg blog. What do you think the over/under is that he’s a Jets fan?

It’s laughable when I see the Islanders style of play being labeled as boring. When they are on, their transition game is so much fun to watch - at least as a fan of the team. I could see how opposing teams/fans get frustrated with their defensive play, but at the same time, other teams are trying to do the same thing to the Isles (limit shots, block shots, clog up the neutral zone…)just not as effectively.

Any good team is focused on their defensive and transition game. “Oh they won cuz Trotz and they’re boring.” Like a bunch of petulant children. It’s hysterical.

It's only boring if you are losing.
