Ristolainen was on the ice for 6 high danger chances in last nights game. For the season, Ristolainen has been on the ice for 44 scoring chances for and 74 against. A rate of 37.29%. High danger chances are 23 for and 32 against. A rate of 41.82%. In comparison, Seeler has been on the ice for 46 scoring chances for and 49 against. A rate of 48.42%. High danger for Seeler is 20 for and 24 against. A rate of 45.45. For a 7th defenseman, not bad numbers.

Again, go watch the highlights last night which will contain most of those so-called high danger chances and mark down who was on the ice for the Flyers. I don't care what some intern entered into a stat sheet, I care what happened in the actual game.

Vegas may well dump Pietrangelo due to Eichels salary year end. If Risto and Sanheim don't improve this year, trading them to fit his salary...

Vegas is not moving Pietrangelo. They don't need to.

You would not have to trade Risto, just don't resign him. And given how Sanheim has performed so far this season, not sure he will have much trade value, especially at his cap number.

You're wrong. They're not nearly as bad as the 2nd pairing.

Apparently according to you, When Risto is out there he must be able to cover all 5 opposing players at once, otherwise he is just the epitome of mediocrity. I'm sure it was his fault the Flyers lost in OT, because after all, Risto was on the ice, right?

Braun has no business being anywhere near the top 4, he needs to move back with Yandle, in fact I would do it right now, because Seeler is completely killing Yandle right now. I would sit Seeler at this point and bring up Zamula until Ellis comes back.

- jd250

If Seeler is the next best option is terms of call ups, that’s so sad.

I think the same with TK, was totally on board with trading him for Reinhart last year. Most people didnt like that suggestion because TK is younger. But im done with him. He can get his points, but we need someone who can keep some possession.
- bradster

Konency attempts and misses a lot of his passes.

Putting talent aside whether we agree or disagree on the level of it on this team. The bottom line to everything, is this team gets out worked on almost every game. And it’s evident. Some spurts during a game you see them work hard. But never consistently enough. When they get outplayed by teams with much less talent on the ice. That’s out working them, and this has been happening now for years

I will say that anyone who expected us to roll into pitt and beat them 8 0 was fooling themselves. Even without the big names, pitt is always going to give a strong effort vs us. Hart is still playing very well and that’s huge. They had their chances and Jarry played well.

I’ll say it again, there are no gimmes in this league.

- Hextall271

I agree on the no gimmies, but you still shouldn't be able to struggle this mightily against them either. Call it lack of effort, talent or just a bad mix of linemates but something has to give.

I'm not sure how close Hayes is but if he is still a few weeks away. I bring up Frost.....its sink or swim time for him. Lets see if he is part of the future or not.
If hayes will be back in a couple more games, i don't bring up frost. and just wait it out.

- bradster

Bet he will be rushed back and then tear his groin on his 6th shift back...
The great OZ has foreseen it.
And we can't have nice things either
