i would think julien's defence and tough game approach.

that said, i don't think he'd be a fit with the way the team is constituted. seems too old school for this bunch. seems like it would set up conflict but that sometimes works to motivate players but is too risky imo.

the name babcock has been thrown out there and i'd want to interview him. he's got baggage which (looking at the redemption angle) could be have sparked growth and at least some humility. in practical terms, you can get him cheaper as he'll want to get back in the league. he's not getting a $50m maple leaf deal anymore.

As long as it's still fun. It's much different in Goal once you hit beer league.

Could Bruce Boudreau be an option if there was a change?
- VanHockeyGuy

I forgot he’s out of work. I’d take him in a heartbeat over Green.

Time for Captain Bo to call a players only meeting.
- K-man25

The players might treat it like a game and not show up.

You think Babcock has been humbled and grown as a HC since he was fired?
i dunno, but i wouldn't bet on it.

Also, I'm not worried about the salary of a coach.
That's on Aquilini and i'm pretty sure he's good for it.

I ate some smoked salmon late last night before going to bed and didn't wash my hands, I woke up stinking of smoked salmon along with my bedding. I'm doing laundry now.

Yes, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Knowing that there will be a glaring spotlight on him, I don't think he'll ask Petey for a list of teammates ranked best to worst and then release it to the team.

Well, he was previously working in the centre of the universe, which didn't stop him from being a d!ckhead in the past...

...and I think because he was caught for being a dickhead he will be less likely to be one because people will be looking over his shoulder.

I’d take Torts back over Babcock and his giant ego.

Torts stifles players imo. Always has a shelf life it seems. Idk if any coach tops Babcocks ego but if he gets results idc. Big IF though lol

baby canucks have a good PK . you need puck pressure, you cant sit back and hope a shot doesnt break something. Every PK against the canucks we have no time and the point men are rushed with 2 guys on them and no ones open

Green won’t get fired, Benning still has one more year, and the owner is on the record about “these things taking time”.

Can we go back to complaining about Myers now please?

Maybe the same set up is the too predictable? Not much movement. 1 or 2 players should be skating the pucks to find lanes or force the PK to move & shooters move into openings.

What’s wrong with discussing solutions to what ails the PP & PK?

Better to be proactive finding the answers.
